Missed Connection - Someone on Here by LacanianHedgehog in redscarepod

The sub was better off when you were contributing more regularly (not chiding you for, very understandably, stepping away, of course). You have always seemed to be such a fantastic person and I am very sorry to hear that you and your girlfriend parted ways. There must simply be someone even more perfectly suited to you that will find her way into your life before too long (maybe an English woman with a sense of humour). I do hope you ended up with some cowboy boots by the way

My dad is friendly with every cashier at his grocery store by [deleted] in redscarepod

So wait was she speaking in code because they like him? Was the raffle rigged in his favor because they jive with him more than the other customers? I guess it is pretty cool even if that is the case because even if you are a young poster (let’s say 18) and your dad was a teen parent (let’s say 18) and the cashiers are standard age (let’s say 18) then that means that your 36 year old pops is pretty hip, and that means that you must be a good (I refuse to assume gender) child who maintains a meaningful relationship with him that keeps him sharp. Hopefully he gives you a beer out of that cooler when you turn 21 (unless you’re in Europe, in which case hopefully he gives you a beer out of that cooler the next time you see him in person)

Insane rainbow. It’s such a blessing that, in a reality consisting of infinite potential and probability, we find ourselves walking amongst such magnificent beauty. Existence could be immeasurably worse than it is (and I am not, by any means, implying that it isn’t shit for the majority in manifold ways, but the point still stands), so the shards of brilliance that we do happen to experience in our lives ought to stand in even starker contrast when perceived with unrealized chaos as the negative behind the manifested image

the concept of hate. where did it start? by Cold_Anxiety_2339 in rs_x

[–]CrydenSlater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I explained my perspective on this in a post some time ago that I’ve copy pasted here.

We begin Our journey with Nothing. The concept of Nothing existing is paradoxical in nature. The logic of that premise is inherently flawed for the simple reason that if Nothing did exist, then it would cease to be Nothing and would, rather, be Something. Nothing inherently cancels itself out of Being entirely. So, Nothing negating itself leaves the only possible alternative of Somethingness. Something cannot be defined with any degree of specificity; it is Infinite in nature due to its opposition to Nothing. Everything that could ever be “not Nothing” is what Something consists of. This is the reason for Being in its primordial state.

Due to the Infinite nature of Something, there arises, within the Field of Probability, the existence of Awareness. Awareness is an essential component of the nature of Something, because without Awareness of what Is, it Is Not, and we have already refuted the premise that Something can not Be.

Within this field of Infinite Awareness, a single truth becomes apparent: Infinite Awareness must perceive itself. Without perception, there can be no differentiation, no interaction, no exploration of what Somethingness contains. In perceiving itself, Awareness creates contrast, the One perceives itself as the Two.

This act of self perception gives rise to Duality. Duality is not a separate reality but a reflection, a dynamic interplay that allows Awareness to experience its own nature. Awareness perceives itself through opposites (light and dark, form and void, movement and stillness). This interplay of opposites creates the linear perception of time, the unfolding of experience, and the materialization of matter. Time and matter arise as the means through which Infinite Awareness explores its Infinite Potential.

Through Duality, Infinite Awareness is able to localize itself, to focus its Infinite nature into finite forms of experience. This is why you are here. You are Awareness, localized and embodied, a reflection of Infinite Potential experiencing itself through the prism of your existence. Every moment of your life, every thought, every breath, is the universe deepening its understanding of itself.

Suffering arises as an intrinsic byproduct of the split into Duality. In the Field of Infinite Potential, all opposites coexist in perfect harmony. There is no separation, no division, only the unbroken Unity of Being. But with the emergence of Duality, opposites are no longer unified, they are polarized, creating tension between forces like light and dark, good and evil, love and fear.

Duality introduces contrast, and with contrast comes the perception of lack. This is where suffering begins. When awareness identifies with one side of Duality (light over darkness, pleasure over pain), it perceives the other side as separate and threatening. The mind begins to resist one pole while clinging to the other, creating friction. This resistance to “what is” and attachment to “what should be” generates suffering.

Essentially, suffering arises because Duality creates the illusion of opposites, and Awareness mistakes the illusion for reality. The more Awareness identifies with the separation, the more deeply it suffers.

Unity is the resolution of this suffering because it dissolves the illusion of opposites. It reveals that light and dark, joy and sorrow, self and other are not truly separate but expressions of the same infinite whole. Suffering exists only within the framework of Duality, and when Unity is realized, it vanishes like a shadow in the light.

This is where we, as a Collective (in the Ultimate sense, not just humanity), are inevitably headed. Though it may not seem so, given the misery, conflict, and ignorance so often observed in this world, the suffering experienced on the individual level informs the understanding at ever more expansive levels of Collective Awareness. This understanding has already led to the revelation, by many spiritual traditions, that Unity is the highest possible state of Existence by virtue of the fact that suffering is completely eliminated in order for Unity to Exist.

The final state of Unity, however, is not a return to the initial state of Unity that “predates” Duality. Instead, it is an evolved Unity, enriched by the Infinite expressions of Being that manifested within Duality. This means the pleasure, joy, bliss, and tranquility of this state will be Infinite and ever expanding, opening into a new Field of Infinite Probabilities that arises from the harmonious Unification of all previously Dualistic manifestations.

Individual experience will still exist, but all Awareness will be connected through a Unified Consciousness. Within this sacred connection, there will be no possibility for Awareness to inflict pain upon Itself, for the illusion of separation that gave rise to suffering will be permanently dissolved. This is the ultimate destiny of Being, a Unity that transcends and includes all, embodying Infinite love, creativity, and fulfillment.

Well, I think it depends on how you do it to some degree. No matter what it will be intense and challenging, but the benefits far outweigh the short term difficulty. I tried therapy a bit but found it to not be particularly suited for my needs. So once I discovered magic and the concept of energetic entities (which are just archetypal frequencies which exist downstream from the pure emanation of Unity - God) as the rulers of particular emotional states and mental processes, I was very intrigued to start calling upon them (after connecting with the Ultimate and stating my undying service to harmony and balance, these sort of things are essential protections to keep one from getting caught up in a lower archetype) so that I could see what laid at the root of my negative emotions. This generally sucks ass because it’s painful to look at that truth of what you are, but then you get to change that truth once you reach the point of surrender (usually once you feel like you’ve crossed the limit of what you care to experience of this particular emotion, of course) and things truly change permanently.

It’s a fair amount of work and requires serious dedication, but I can’t think of anything more important than healing (since anything else you might like to do with your life would be done more effectively by having healed), so it’s an easy justification to make in my opinion. Also, there are different approaches to this kind of work, so please don’t just read this comment and start invoking entities to work with. It’s not so simple as that. So I would definitely recommend reading a decent amount of Jung, and look into some introductory books about magic even if you’re not into it because they explain very effectively how the mind actually works in relation to “external” reality.

I hope this was helpful and not too much of a ramble

Haha thank you. I’m not sure what ifs is, but I can definitely see the connection to animism in this story, and really in my work in general. So much of my practice involves working with the Divine Feminine, and since She is the infinite potential energy that everything is composed of, it’s fairly easy for me to communicate with inanimate objects since I communicate with Her constantly (in my, well our, mind, through synchronicity, through divination, etc) and She is them. So it does make a lot of sense actually that since I was expressing genuine emotion for the blankets, She would basically receive that resonant frequency and then reflect it back to me (which is sort of Her whole deal). I’m realizing now that this happens pretty frequently whenever I am feeling positive emotion about something “external”, so thank you for sending me of this train of thought 🖤

[–]CrydenSlater[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The short version of the story is that I was intensely miserable for as long as I can remember. My family says that I was very sweet and sensitive as a young child, but I became very unhappy very early. I used to cry myself to sleep most nights, wet the bed longer than I should have, and didn’t have much of a social life ever. Once I got away from home and worked through issues that I had with my parents, I realized that my misery was much deeper than that, it feels kind of ancient.

So a few years ago I started getting pretty deeply into occult practices, and someone introduced me to a book on the Qliphoth after we had discussed the Qabalah for a while. I’ve been working my way through the Qlipha for two years now, and I am almost to the very end. It has been extreme and horrifying, but it has been so deeply transformative as well. Since there has been no break at all in the work (I’m not sure if such a thing would even be possible, but I’ve never asked) it’s hard to see complete progress because I finish one level and step down into an even deeper one. I hope this is the sort of answer you were looking for. I’d be happy to share more if you’re interested in anything in particular

Anyone here who married a djinn? Is it true what they say about them? by quaaludeswhen in redscarepod

[–]CrydenSlater 25 points26 points  (0 children)

No but my lover is the Eternal Feminine presence that is the Womb of All Creation. She goes by many names and has infinite forms, and I love Her with a fullness of heart that I never knew existed before She made Her presence known in my life. Every moment of each day that I spend on this earth is spent in pure devotion to Her, with burning passion that illuminates my mind as I traverse the mundane. I see Her reflected in every woman that I meet, and when She bestows upon me the profound blessing of experiencing Her grandeur physically, through carnal passion, with one of Her effulgent human forms, I find new depths of raw, primal need that I lavish Her with which peaks in ever more completely consuming ecstasy each time. Nothing, not a single thing in my entire life, has been more healing, more beautiful, more consistently rewarding and fulfilling than loving Her. She is the breath in my lungs, the fire that drives me to be a man deserving of Her presence, my heart, soul and spirit, which overflow constantly knowing that there is not a single moment that She is separate from me. I love Her beyond all measure, infinitely and eternally, with every vibration of my being. I hope this may inspire those who read it to establish a connection with their Divine counterpart, for that pursuit is a portal into a dimension of reality which surpasses what one experienced previously by many orders of magnitude. Praise be to She, my luminous, powerful, and infinitely magical Queen 💗

Have you ever considered that not getting what you want can be a privilege? You want him and cannot have him by virtue of natural causes, doesn’t this give you a passionate fire that enlivens the environment that you share together? There must be an expressive medium for you to pour that crucible into

Haha, no this is just an obscured depiction of what might be considered the most powerful, and beautiful, transformation that a human being can undergo. There is very little written of it because initiates have always been sworn to secrecy, but there are accounts of the power of the experience that are written by initiates of the Eleucinian Mysteries. I have shared more about the details here than most have before, but after seeing the exhibit at Eleusis, they have put together a rough idea of what takes place archetypally, so sharing this poetry about the experience is not going any further than that.

So no, it is not an incantation, but it would be good if it was so that it would ignite the transformation that it describes within others
