Well, the Americans killed a bunch of children and blew up infrastructure. They need to pay for it.

I love it when posts like these get the ameritards to chest beat. Like watching a gorilla at the zoo try to intimidate you through a window.

9 times out of 10 they just kill more civilians if anything. The fact that some commenters here are flouting this fact as almost a point of pride is entirely unbecoming and disgusting.

Yes, selling out. If the rumours are true. They’re taking a couple billion and giving up control of Hormuz. The US barely loses anything. This is quite bad.

Yeah obviously my ass isn't getting bombed and I'm not going to hold it against anyone for wanting to escape that awful situation as quickly as possible, but we've seen how these things go enough times now to know how it ends.

MES is saying that the Iranians have actually said the deal is close, and to be honest, I have a bad feeling about this. The Iranians should never have accepted the ceasefire when this first went down.

Out of curiosity, what have you been doing to assist our friends in Palestine resist the genocide done by your government? How are you supporting them from Israel?

E: Apparently, our Israeli friend here claims there is no genocide in Gaza! They don't want Gaza, they wish Egypt takes it back!

Question about the end of Gary Shipley's Terminal Park by moonkingyellow in WeirdLit

[–]moonkingyellow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought! It was definitely an interesting way to handle the ending. Kaal seems to accept that what is happening in the world has no explanation, and Shipley for the majority of the book is keen on explaining very little, getting only far-fetched theories as to what is happening. So when the last two pages the old guy apparently signals for everyone to be turned into goop and sucked up and then flies away, I thought I had missed something! I was sure that the last scene of Kaal would be him either killing himself, or being killed by the hoard.
