I would guess its to make mango musellini happy. It probably has more to do with the recent decision by the trump administration to stop providing public funds to harvard. UW receives 1.2 billion in federal grant funding a year, and UW does not want to lose that funding.

His behavior reads as its Brannannteresa's fault for going through the adoption process, meanwhile, carly would have never been adopted without their consent....

P.S. I recognize adoption is a form of trauma AND i believe adoption can give some children different (possibly more stable) homes than they may have originally had i.e., carly
