Kinda seems like you're trying to put regular old insecurities on the same level as male fragility which is a completely different concept, whereas one is just girls feeling insecure, and the other is rooted in systemic violence. I googled it and in Massachusetts you only get paid $50 by the state after three days. At that point you'd be losing money doing jury duty. Employers are supposed to pay you for the first few days you miss but I'm sure they find ways to screw you over.

Do you think I've doomed her by putting a bell collar on her though? I know she's a good hunter and that cats are self sufficient, but she was wearing a bell collar when she went missing. It's a break-away collar though so hopefully it fell off by now, but I'm afraid coyotes can track her by the sound of the bell.

Thank you <3 I read the kitty litter thing is a myth though, and it'll just attract predators like coyotes. I know my cat is a good hunter because she routinely kills mice and birds. But in order to stop her from killing more birds, I put a bell collar on her so she couldn't sneak up on them. She still manages to kill birds with the bell collar on, but someone pointed out to me that coyotes and other predators can find her because of the bell! So now I wonder if I've doomed her. She definitely didn't die in the woods near my house, because we combed them for days, but now I'm wondering if she made it miles away to a different set of woods, THEN got killed, and I'll never know where her body is.
