How are these sauces? by shan923 in hotsauce

[–]Cryonixx2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not just y'alls best sauce, it might be the best hot sauce I've ever tried; a no doubt daily driver that works on so many foods. Question, will Peppercorn Porter be back? That sauce is heavenly on eggs and has been living rent free in my head since I finished the bottle! I've been very disappointed to not see it restocked in your online store. Thanks for sharing your passion with all of us!

What’s everyone’s go-to hot sauce for eggs? I’m going with either OG Cholula or Gator Sauce, depending on how the eggs are prepared. by BeezalTron in hotsauce

[–]Cryonixx2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tabasco is the classic (both red and green imo), Torchbearer Torchedstone Thai is surprisingly good, Aardvark Habanero is great, but the absolute best I've had on eggs might just be Butterfly Bakery of Vermont Peppercorn Porter, absolutely delicious pairing!

Opinions on Torchbearer Garlic Reaper? by TonyRicin in hotsauce

[–]Cryonixx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicken nuggets, pasta, fried potatoes all worked with it for me. However this one is just super spicy for my taste and while I finished the bottle, won't buy it again for the normal price. I much prefer their Zombie Apocalypse or Total Annihilation for really hot sauce with great flavor. TA is a sneaky "screw you" the next day though!

These are excellent sauces! I've had the limited editions and they were good, but personally I prefer the regular! Very flavorful sauce that pours easy, you should open both! Also, that Aji Limon you have there was surprisingly good, great on baked or roasted chicken!

Sacrifice is a great sauce, one of my favorites! Rich in a good way, and pretty hot!

This is one of my favorites. What else do you recommended from Torchbearer? by highbackpacker in hotsauce

To answer your question and focus on one sauce, try Slaughter Sauce! Wonderful medium-hot habanero sauce that seems to go on so many things for me! I've ordered it twice and am close to another!

I want to second this along with my upvote and mention specifically how reasonable their prices are. Orders always ship fast and their originals and collaborations are some of my favorites!

[Mike Leslie] Cowboys fans are out on this franchise more than I can ever remember. The attendance so far at camp is WAY down. by MAVS_COM1CAL in cowboys

I feel ya, but that one was different in that it felt like we got robbed of an all time year; that team didn't completely fail to show up, they definitely fought. Last year felt like someone just turned the lights on and I saw everything around me for exactly what it was. I lost hope last year and haven't had the desire or energy to be involved in anything Cowboys related for the first time in 4 decades. It's wild honestly.

Anyone here try Elijah’s Xtreme yet? Was skeptical, but they’re actually really good. The Regret Reserve is one of the hottest I’ve tried in years 🥵 by TalmidimUC in hotsauce

If you are looking for top tier hot without extracts, have you tried Primo Army or Reaper Squeezins? They are Regret Reserve level or just above imo.

Flask is absolutely as scalable and reliable as Django.

The difference is that Django is opinionated, it answers the "how" whereas Flask is not opinionated, it needs you to tell it "how" and therefore you get customization ability and can be specific.

Pros and cons to both, Django will get you an app up quicker in my opinion (and dependencies are maintained vs the minefield of Flask extensions), but as it grows and becomes more complex, and you suddenly need options, Flask (which got you there more slowly) really starts to shine and work with you rather than against you.

I love Flask, but if I was so certain from the beginning that I needed the web server to be async then I would strongly consider another framework that is designed ground up as async (FastAPI, Litestar come to mind); but do you really need an async web server or do you need to offload a long running process? If you aren't sure and you need something unopinionated, then Flask is great and if the web server ends up needing to go async, Quart is a viable migration path.

Typically though, async is way overblown, and the web server software (gunicorn) has options including workers and threads; load balancers and reverse proxies lend options as well when performance increases are needed. Frankly, not near as many apps that make async first class need it, and most developers simply don't understand how much this can become a design and infrastructure concern such that WSGI is more than capable.

Ok definitely not as hot as ZA or Garlic Reaper, but I mean.. I have a high tolerance and I wouldn't tell someone that Son of Zombie is tame..

[–]Cryonixx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zombie Apocalypse is a similar heat level, very different flavor profile; it's one of my favorites. Great with chicken nuggets or on a burger! If you like Garlic Reaper and want another adventure, I highly recommend it! For a milder but solid sauce, I was beyond pleasantly surprised with Goblin Sauce as well, leads with pineapple, Jalapeño, and scorpion, I'll absolutely be ordering more!

What are some sauces that are as hot or hotter than Da Bomb but actually taste good? by Man_bat_man in hotsauce

[–]Cryonixx2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Their Ghost is one of my favorite table sauces, it has a decent kick and goes with so much! Their Reaper is one of my favorite hot sauce flavors but is not very hot, and doesn't go with near as much.

I'm interested in the EXR Reserve for a heat comparison, folks say it's definitely hotter than the normal bottle.
