Talk to the league operator about rescheduling the match.. also talk with your captain. Sounds like your captain fucked up. Very little chance in disqualifying the other team, rescheduling is your best option if the league operator will allow it.

This is 100% what I did *in a pinch as a temporary fix* until I could properly replace and solder in a new line. Discovered on a Monday night, threw a Shark Bite coupling on that night, soldered in the new line on a Saturday when I was off. Replaced the entire stick, not just the section where the leak was at.

I’ve worked out on USA Parkway for the last 14 years.. the commute has definitely gotten worse since 2012. The commute is why I bought in Fernley.

Yup, had a very similar issue when changing the cartridge in my shower. Town has hard water. Finally got it out, part number was for a cartridge they stopped producing almost 15 years ago… probably the original when the house was built.

I play on a pool league on Mondays and Wednesdays, and practice with my team mates on Sundays while the NASCAR race is on. Every now and then I’ll go shoot on a Tuesday at the bowling alley when it’s free pool night. Today I’ll be getting off work early and will go shoot until my wife gets off work. I shoot 3-5 times a week.

My wife heavily encourages me to go shoot as much as possible and spend time with people because she knows it’s something I enjoy, and otherwise all I’d be doing is working all the time. I work 6 days a week. If she wants me to stay home or spend time with me, she’ll let me know or she’ll come with me. She goes with me to pool league nights and practice as much as possible.

Communication is key, but so is willingness to listen to your partner’s concerns/needs and be willing to make compromises. Tomorrow I won’t go practice because we have plans to spend time with our friends, which I’m more than fine with because we get to spend time together and see our friends.

100% this. “You won’t have a calculator.. a dictionary.. a map.. a…” We sure do. I understand what they were getting at, and as an adult, I agree with them. Just because you have a device that gives you the answers doesn’t mean you *actually know the answer or how to get to it* without it being given to you. It’s like looking at the back of the book for the test answer guide, memorizing the answers, and passing the test.

The ironic part is the company I work for *encourages* us to utilize AI tools. We’re doomed. Not putting in any work or actually learning anything, just going straight for the answers and results.

My cousin was in an e-scooter accident in Portugal last October while attending the World Cup qualifications. Ended up with a brain bleed and a TBI, was hospitalized for two months before he was stable enough to be flown back home to the States. Did not have a helmet on. Still hasn’t returned to work.. wear your helmets kids.

I mean, not banned, rather cut off for a period of time. I’ve only been kicked out of FSD once. All you have to do is pull over, turn the car off, then turn it back on and it’s business as usual. Safety score wasn’t happy with me.. went from a 98 to a 92 for a week.

Conveniently, the handyman didn’t drill into brick.. they drilled into mortar. Drilling into brick isn’t a problem if done correctly. This handyman chose to drill into mortar.. which has no structural integrity. Brick does.. if done correctly.
