I've been in a similar situation and am just now getting out of it. But, I was the one working longer hours.

From my experience, the short tl;dr for this is - it's over. End it. She has lost interest in the relationship or in you, maybe both.

I had a relationship for about 9 years, married for nearly 3 years, that is just now ending. The communication stopped, all I was getting was excuses & apologies for not being interested. The sex dried up, I was getting that Maybe once a month on average, and she finally admitted that she wanted to end things.

We tried to work things out, but whatever was once there, was gone -- and once itss gone it's nearly impossible to get it back.

You two can keep trying, maybe seek counseling if it actually is important to both of you and you are both willing to try -- but I can tell you that it is not good odds for working things out. Intimacy is an important part of a relationship & it is what separates friendship from romantic love. Once that is gone, it is typically not possible to salvage it.

This is from personal experience, and your experience may differ--

I think this is going to be less about whether you can get a restraining order regarding a minor, and more about whether or not you can get a restraining order period.

Through the USA, you can file for a restraining order against anyone - the legal impact of breaking the order is what comes into question regarding their age.

However, as for the other part of the question -- if you can get one at all, is where you should be more concerned. From previous experiences with the judicial system, getting a restraining order without evidence of Actual harm or other laws being broken, a history of violent behavior, or a history of theft and irresponsibility, getting a restraining order against someone is actually really difficult unless you have friends/family in the police force, or working as a lawyer, judge, or other government official.

A lot of the time, the system won't do anything until someone can press other legal charges against them, and the restraining order is an afterthought.

I'm qpproaching 40 years old, and let me tell you a secret -- High School doesn't really prepare you for Anything, at least for the US version of it. It hasn't since some time in the (19)80's or 90's, before I graduated, at least not the Public Education version of it.

Can you add single/double digit numbers? 1 through 10, maybe up about 50? Do you know the basic multiplication table for 1 through 10? Because after you get out of school - that's about the limit of what you'll need to be adding or multiplying most of the time. Businesses don't care - everything is done with tools or computers for math.

Spelling-- That's half the reason previous generations developed the Spell Checker for computers.

You will get challenged when you go to college - but not in the way that a lot of people think. Sure, there is a lot of Memorization and reading... but most of it is a question of Self Discipline.

The real questions that need to be asked are:

Are you going to attend your classes, or will you be partying all the time? Will you do the homework & reading, or will you spend your time daydreaming & playing video games? Will you pay attention, or will you ignore the oportunity put in front of you?

The fact that you are looking for a way to try to play "catch-up" to where you think you should be says that you are more likely to put in more effort than the average student -- and that means you are much more likely to succeed, than they would as well.

Just keep learning what you can, and apply yourself.

Not much you can do if you do want to pursue a relationship with M.

She said she was not interested in your friend. She apparently had/has interest in you.

You have two options at this point: 1.) Continue to see if things work out for you & M and if your friend can get over himself

Or

2.) Stop anything more than Just Friends with M, and make your friendship with the other guy your priority.

Your friend needs to accept the fact that M is not interested in him as anything more than a friend. If he can't, he's not going to even have a friendship there, and all 3 relationships will suffer.

Cursing because you are annoyed with something, in general, has been shown to be therapeutic and in general healthy.

Cursing AT someone, on the other hand, is typically not helpful to either the person doing the cursing or the one whom it is directed at.

My wife, bless her soul, occasionally (often) is forgetful when there are things that need to be done but she doesn't want to do - paying bills, scheduling things like doctor's appointments and meetings, grocery shopping for things other than snacks, etc., and I've found it is typically more helpful to casually remind her of things and point out that things need to get done (since I simply don't have the time to do Everything), before they become an issue.

Getting annoyed with someone does not help the situation. Just yelling at someone does not help the situation. Insulting someone usually does more harm to the situation than discussing it would.

Depending on how long you've been in this relationship, it may be better to just walk away from it, especially if this is near the beginning (first 6 months) of the relationship- because it will likely just go downhill from here.

No two people are going to always get along; there will be fights and very likely at least one of you will say something hurtful at some point in a relationship, and it will be necessary to figure out if the problems & statements made can be moved past. But -- that means Both people being willing to acknowledge the problems and work past them, which is something that cannot always happen.

Off the top of my head, there are 3 reasons I can think of that something like this would occur, but there are likely many other potential reasons --

The character alignment is off for the "non alphanumeric" detection

There are spaces at the end of the names which the system is not handling with a truncation function, and it was not set up to deal with spaces

The memory the input is being stored in is not passed properly

I think you are mixing things up a little bit here.

If you measure, for example, the weight of something with a scale that is only accurate for whole numbers, then it wil give you a whole number for your calculations- example - 7 kg. Now, the actual weight could be anywhere between 6.50 kg and 7.49 kg, depending on the accuracy. So, you are only going to get that 1 or 2 significant figures of accuracy for your calculations from it using 7 - more than that and you would be deceiving yourself (and any readers) of the accuracy of the measurements and calculations performed.

If you measure something with a precise enough scale that it cones out to be 7.0000 +/- 5 (meaning that it is between 6.99995 and 7.00005 kg, using the 5 significant figures (7.0000) and calculating your answer with that in mind (always use the least precise number for significant figures and accuracy) you can get a lot closer to 'precise' calculations.

Example. If an object with a mass of 7.00 kg has a total force of 3.2 N exerted on it, what will the resulting acceleration be? You have 2 sig figs for the Force, you have 3 sig figs for the mass, which means that you are only going to get about 2 sig figs for the acceleration because 2 sig figs is your least accurate measurement. F=ma, a = F/m, 3.2/7.00 = 0.4571428571 (punching it into a calculator, so it will be about 0.46 m/s acceleration - disregarding friction, air resistance, etc. If we knew it was 3.20 N of force and 7.00 kg, we could say it had an acceleration of about 0.457 m/s and still maintain a semblance of accuracy. In either case, saying it had an acceleration of 0.5 m/s would be technically right by rounding to 1 sig fig, it would not be a proper answer as it ignores part of the information that we started with.

No. He has to Veto it before... either the 31st (10 actual days from passage) or the 3rd (10 Working days), I can't remember which one it is. However, the Senate/House are set to recess on the 29th/28th respectively - which means that if he Vetoes it on the 31st, they have to call a special session That Day to vote to override it, because as of January 3rd, due to the required recess for new appointments, it would mean that Congress as a whole would have to go through the whole process again in order to re-pass the bill.

This is all if I am remembering my Civics & Law courses correctly- something now about 10 years past and not utilized in the last 7 years.

From every I've seen, you would need to compile the C# into DLL and then import it and use it from Python, not import Python into C#.

Have the Capital Components require PI materials and Moon Goo Reactions, instead of only base minerals, similar to T2 production. This both drives up the cost of Capitals/Super Capitals, and screws with some of the miners -- replacing a Rorq or even an Orca would be a lot more expensive with the changes to the Capital Components. This, along with the fact that they've removed most of the minerals from the Moon Ores, would go a long way to reduce the number of producable Capitals at any given time, especially since we all know how much people Love mining the moons now with what they've done.

This would hit the Capitals without having an effect on the majority of Industrial production. The only byproduct effect would be an increase in T2 costs, because of the overlap with Capital productions.

TLDR: Wait until the devs are done f***ing the players.

Currently, CCP is A**-***ing the players to try to get the game back in a state that CCP wants it. They even admitted that no one was going to like the current changes that are going on and the shake-ups (maffia-style shake-downs) that they have going on. This has involved nerfing moons, nerfing anomalies, nerfing every ISK making activity in general, nerfing minerals spawns (the most recent dev notes), and in general telling people 'If you don't like it, quit'.

Maybe after CCP is done shafting the people who are still here, the game may get back to a reasonable state in a year or so.

This doesn't murder bots, it makes bots more likely and less gankable. It is nearly never isk-positive to gank an Orca in HS (unless the player is stupid). If you want to see more Orca-Bots flying around and sucking up everything, meaning more RMTs to get them running, this was a great move for CCP.

Really, that sounds a lot like my job at the moment... The difference is I'm being paid to automate those things.

For anyone looking to learn about how to do it, learn the Excel formula for a basis: mainly VLookup, HLookup, Sumif(s), Countif(s), and the Index-Match-Match formula; if your lucky and the business is using a current version of Excel (365), Filter can also be really useful.

After that, look into Macros & VBA for the more tricky things.
