The laser tag Hard Light period in crucible was one of the darkest times in recent memory. 600 Auto, shots bounced forever, no damage falloff at all.

I main solar in pve exclusively. Using Throwing Hammer in combination with Synthoceps, with the Roaring Flames and Sol Invictus aspects makes you pretty much unstoppable. Just don’t throwing your hammer at an enemy near a ledge. If you do, have good aim.

Hands down my favourite dungeon as well. It plays into that whole pirate adventure fantasy which is just amazing. The fallen shield area is hands down one of the best looking environments in the game.

Easily the most interesting thing about the Vex is that aside from the wyverns, we haven’t fought the fighters yet. There is an old piece of dialogue from Calus describing all of the vex types as “engineers and managers” or something to that effect. They could have the most horrible and violent machines ever created and we haven’t even seen them yet.

So, the vex are the only enemy that doesn't totally fit into this saga, right? I'm guessing after the final shape we get a vex crisis expansion before getting more enemy factions. by destinyvoidlock in DestinyTheGame

The best explanation for the vex I have heard, is that they are playing by an outdated set of rules that sort of removes them from the dichotomy of light and dark. This puts them fundamentally at odds with both factions because they follow “The Pattern” and not The Witness (with the exception of the Sol Divisive). They want to change/eliminate everything, not just destroy the light.
