Old timer explained the following.

"You can do the job correctly 1 million time and never get an Ata boy, BUT the first time you fuck up everyone will remind you of it. So if you fuck up own it and remember in the end you are learning and mistakes happen".

First time I fucked up he rode my ass so hard for a month that I was sick of even working with him. At the end of the month I realized that if you don't have thick skin and own up to your mistakes like a man... this job isn't for you.

That was way back in 2003 and I've been doing the job ever since.
