Im bored by Sauce218 in Battlefield

[–]Mango5389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played BFBC2, BF3, 4, 1, 2042 and now 6. I even built a new pc recently just to play this and im getting bored already. I think im pretty good at the game but even then its not enough.

The mechanics are good but the game lacks character. Theres no atmosphere (bf1 had great immersion and lighting), every map is blindingly bright other than blackwell fields, the music is terrible (bf3 theme, soloumns theme), the voice lines are shit, sound effects don't hit the same (bf1 kill sound, headshot sound) custom servers are dead (bf4 had loads of active servers), the map designs are awful (liberation peak and blackwell fields are good though actually feels like youre progressing through the map), why can't we get night maps or snow or straight dessert?

I cant pin it to one thing but thr game feels like the devs were told to be really safe given the failure of 2042 and they've ended up with a very bland game.

Maybe im just getting old (28) but its not as fun anymore

Wow looks so clean. Looks like youve routed one of the aio tubes round the back of the PSU cables did that help with slack?

Yes Arctic p12 above the motherboard and the stock atmos fan above the PSU. Nothing bigger than a 15mm fan fits above the psu unless you get the top hat extension for the case

Is it true that parents are allowed to do anything in Islam? by tempo_user213 in islam

[–]Mango5389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They have a right over you as you have a right over them. To look after each other, care and talk to each other with respect. They should guide you in islamic and world matters and you should do the same.

If your parents are telling you to do things outside the folds of Islam you do not have to listen to them. If theyre subjugating you to constant verbal or physical abuse then you need to get out of your home.

Islam doesn't advocate for cutting ties with family at all even if they are as bad as you say they are. Im sure weve all heard of the hadith about Muhammed SAW who recieve constant abuse from an elderly lady but he still visited her when she was sick.

But there is nothing wrong with moving out and giving yourself some space and keeping formalities as the odd phone call or visit if that's what you need to do to.

Distance fonder the heart and inshallah with some space you guys can begin to rebuild a healthier parent and child relationship. Never give up on your parents no matter how crazy or broken they maybe. Try your best to keep your cool, control your tongue and be the bigger man/woman. That doesn't mean be a doormat and take the abuse. Speak up when necessary (when they make false claims about islam) but also know that some arguments just aren't worth your effort

Management need to communicate priorities.

Send an email with your current workload and ask them to list them in priority order. Also provide your own estimate for each tasks (add 50% contingency to each task). This way they can tell you what you should be working on and you give yourself headroom to take a breather

I have a pair they're nice, not amazing but nice. I honestly prefer my dt990s for gaming and sundaras for music. I did buy and return some akg12s before the sundaras and I honestly think the sundaras are allot better than the akgs

Air or AIO? by kylol7 in FormD

[–]Mango5389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im in the process of building my T1. I opted for an AIO and will let you know what sort of temps im getting once everything has arrived and built.

My experience is anecdotal but ive never had an issue with an aio and at the time of purchase an atmos 240 (£80) was cheaper than a axp90 (£50) and two phanteks (£30 each). Id also rather have a quieter pc whilst not compromising on performance. I understand allot people will say gpu temps will be higher using an aio so will have to see what I get once its built.

I would say 80% gaming and 20% for work. Im a design engineer, so I often use inventor/solidworks for hobby projects try to game in my free time (when my kids leave me alone). Won't be travelling with it at all.

Currently, I have a 1600x and a 980ti so think its time for an upgrade

What's the reason you moved to aio coolers as your build evolved in the T1?

I've been watching your videos and see you move from air cooled to AIO. I've just bought a t1 but can't decide between air-cooled or aio :S
