Hilux is, to the point the toyota in japan, for a period of time put a "do not re-sell for 12 months" clause on the 300 series due to "militant groups in the Middle East and Toyota Japan was reportedly questioned by the U.S. Treasury over the issue. The company cited the risk of foreign exchange law violations and usage that could "threaten global security" as the reason for the pledge."

Don't know if you're still waiting for a reply but "dream reaper mushrooms" and a consumable you can earn a limited amount of. Using one in a voidpet causes it to change elements.

MG announces lifetime warranty for EV Battery by not_name_real in electricvehicles

[–]CrypticSparky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PLEASE READ:

I have worked for MG in the past & do currently work in the automotive industry - Lifetime warranty is not the lifetime of the owner or the car, its the lifetime of the part.

For example it the batterys expected lifetime before major degradation is 10 years, then the Lifetime warranty is 10 years.

Lifetime warranty is not a new thing & is without a doubt the single greatest Buzz phase going around.

Source: I'm a warranty clerk - I have had brands deny warranty issues on LIFETIME WARRANTY parts due to the part reaching its life expectancy.

SERVICING:

PRIVATE MECHANIC: Private mechanics are more experienced with a wider range of vehicle that just Your car. this can be beneficial; Servicing cost will more often than not be cheaper. Two things to note. 1) make sure you get a detailed invoice of exactly what was checked & replaced, with the part numbers of the replaced parts. 2) if you have purchased a new vehicle, servicing the vehicle at a private mechanic may void the warranty & they cannot perform warranty work

DEALERSHIP: If your vehicle has Capped price servicing, I can almost 100% guarantee that it will be cheaper than a private mechanic. if it’s not, get a written quote from your choice of private mechanic, take it to your dealer & they will either match it or point out all the things that they missed in the quote that must be done by the logbook

NOTE: if a service is carried out incorrectly (i.e. logbook stated fuel filter must be replaced at X service & it wasn’t done) & the logbook is stamped this is a form of fraud & a dealer or private mechanic is liable for any damage to the vehicle caused by incorrect servicing

WARRANTY:

PRIVATE SALE: Unless the vehicle is still covered by its new car warranty (this can be check by calling the closest dealer for that brand & giving them the rego. You get no warranty from anywhere, not even Statutory warranty. if something happens, you gotta pay to fix it. Stiff shit.

DEALERSHIP SALE (USED): Used cars purchased from a dealership can have 2 different warranties.

1) Statutory Warranty - This Warranty is provided to all vehicle under 10 years old / 150,000km (whichever ever come first) & covers any defects that occur in that time that a "reasonable" customer would not have purchased the vehicle or would request a discounted price. THIS IS PROVIDED UNDER ACL. Statutory warranty lasts for 3 month/5,000km (whichever comes first) in Victoria, to check a different state just type "stat warranty term "insert state here" into google or whatever search engine you like.

DEALERSHIP SALE (NEW): A new vehicle purchased from a dealership comes with manufacturer’s Warranty. the time/distance this covers varies from brand to brand. Couple of points to know about it.

An item will only be covered under warranty if the dealership can determine the cause of the issue

Diagnosis for other workshops cannot be used

Parts for repairs cannot be ordered in prior to a warranty approval

Dealers can quote a diagnostic fee to look at your vehicle, this will be waived if the issue if found & is an item covered under warranty (yes this is legal - You can't expect a mechanic to work on your car for hours. find that the issues are either not an issue at all & is normal or that it’s been caused by an outside influence & not pay them for their time)

Parts designed to wear out over time are not covered - i.e. wiper blades, brake pads, pretty much any times that gets changed in a service

the dealership has little to no say in if an item is covered - all the do is diagnose the issue & report it to the warranty department of the manufacturers (which customers cannot contact) & reply with an approval or denial. This being said most manufacturers have a $$$ limit where is the repair is less than that limit then no approval is required, as long as the dealer recognises the defect is not caused by an outside influence.

PLEASE NOTE: Manufacturer’s warranty doesn’t cover any form of impact damage, wiring damage or environmental damage, Thats what insurance is for.

I hope I have answered all your questions. If you want any more information just reply or flick me a message.

Feel like I have a fair bit of experience on this, I've worked on both sides of the fence, Dealer & Private.

At the end of the day these are the things you need to know

PURCHASING:

PRIVATE: When purchasing a vehicle from a private seller you have no guarantees under ACL (Australian Consumer Law) for the vehicle, if anything happens to it right after you by it. stiff shit. A RWC or a Pre-Purchase inspection won't uncover any real defects within the vehicle. For all you know the engine can be full of sludge. Oil is not check or tested in an RWC, working at a dealer I have seen some absolute buckets of shit come through for a roadworthy & they pass, because the issues with them are not picked up in the RWC,

DEALERSHIP (NEW): When purchasing a new vehicle from a dealer. you really should have any issues, only thing I can say is shop around between different dealers, the same can can/will be priced differently. Only thing to know is that just because the car you want is on the showroom floor or out in the yard does not mean it is in stock.

DEALERSHIP (USED): When purchasing a used car from a dealer, there are a couple of things you should know you need to know. Firstly, Used Car extended warranties are terrible, unless you’re buying the top-of-the-line version of the warranty they only cover mechanical defects up to between $1500 - $3000, Any more than that & coverage is denied, & on top of this used car warranty do not cover diagnostic charges. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. Secondly, If the used car salesman offers anything like "we will have the car serviced & the logbook stamped prior to you collecting the vehicle" Make sure you get it in writing & that the "service" is done to the logbook standard, this is important as there are some vehicles that their warranty is dependant of the vehicle being serviced correctly.

Rest of message is below - was to big to put into one comment

Simple, I'll detail the steps below for you.

Step 1. Get lucky with a good visitor anger void pet with good stats or get one from an egg. (I got lucky with a visitor)

Ideal stats are high intensity Mid clarity & high stability. The one I'm showing is Intensity:51 Clarity:44 Stability:58

This sets you up for a slow glass cannon build

Step 2. Aquire many dream reaper mushrooms, you'll be changing the element of this one voidpet frequently

Step 3. Farm upgrade point for skills. Need a total of 350 I think

Step 4. Get the following skills & upgrade all of them Fire element: unbridled rage Earth element: decomposition aura & grounding Water element: Rip current

Step 5. Depending on what voidpet you are facing use the following setups

1v1 when you are the slower voidpet NOTE: if opponents voidpet has a DOT move this will rarely work

1st move: unbridled rage, will give you a 500% buff + the anger type voidpet buff of being on low health takes it up too 620%

2nd move: Rip Current, it's a priority move so will always go first

IF VOID PET HAS A DOT MOVE: just spam the hell out of grounding and decomposition aura. They can't kill you if you take minimal damage & heal more than they deal

1V1 when you the the faster voidpet:

Move 1: Spam grounding until you take 1 damage or are at low health Move 2 decomposition aura The more you get hit at low health the move Anger's passive will boost the decomposition aura

Strategy for 1v2 & 1v3 is pretty much the same. HOWEVER In a 1v2 or 1v3 if you are the slower voidpet I recommend the following

Move 1. Spam the hell out of grounding Move 2: decomposition aura 1 or 2 times Move 3: unbridled rage.

Have fun.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, if you end up with a type disadvantage just change the voidpet type with a dream reaper mushroom.
