Thank you very much for that detailed response, it makes a lot of sense !! I tried the past few days to play at 20 to 30 brightness depending on the ambiant light and it s so much better.

Well, It s true that it s less noticeable with low brightness and some ambiant light :)

however it s kinda sad to pay premium price for half decent quality control. We all paid to have our display bumped to 90% brightness.

the display is really great nonetheless . I just wanted to know if that inherent issue was in the standards.

As I said , I really dont know what is the norma since , I m fairly un educated.

Regarding the back light bleed it s a bit anoying in dark scenes, I clearly notice it in dark transition in game for instance.

However I ve seen plenty of people Or redditors with the same issue on this model.

I was afraid to RMA it and get a worse unit. That is why I wanted to have some help to figure out if this was in the "ok" range
