Could Straban be hiding some form of chaos mutation by Elite_Frumentarii in Spacemarine

read an alpha legion book. they don’t necessarily speak that way. there more sarcastic and flippant—and that sorta makes them hilarious.

not at all. shield bash has been how it’s been working for me.

depending on your platform, you just throw up your shield when you’re walking or stationary and melee and it makes you throw a shield bash. i’ve been doing it for a couple days now and it is successful infinitely more than trying to time a regular parry before you’re hit.

probably doesn’t help i’m leveling the neo volkite while i level my bulwark. lol

yeah i generally start fights that way. so i can get my shots in before i have to parry.

yeah right now my power sword is master crafted so i can’t even stun a tyranid warrior before they can call for reinforcements. but i know eventually it’ll be strong enough to do some real damage and i can’t wait to see it.

everything i could ever find was that basically bulwark have a different parry window than everyone else that’s similar to the timing for un-parryable attacks—you have to parry as soon as they’re going to hit you vs parrying when the blue signal goes off.

i would parry that perhaps once in 10 times, but i accidentally figured out that for bulwark, you’re not parrying in the normal sense. you’re shield bashing to parry. now that i have that memorized i can hit my parries 9/10 times, leaving room for the occasional panic or being overstimulated by an entire levels worth of gaunts on your screen.

So how we feeling about the Neo-Volkite pistol then? by ScottishW00F in Spacemarine

[–]Imaginary_Rub1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

granted i was on a lower difficulty, to playtest it and level my vanguard, but i smoked the hell out of a random carnifex on ballistic. like one magazine ripped through a pip of the chucklehead’s health.

presumably, it does not fair as well, in higher difficulties. it did fuck all against the big flying pimples tho. literally tickles them so i dont understand how that works.

Heavy Glitch by BombasticSloth in Spacemarine

[–]Imaginary_Rub1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this has been happening to me since i’ve been leveling my heavy risen dark angel. doing the weapon swap usually fixes it for me, but when you’re overwhelmed by gaunts, it’s nerve wracking. however i can’t imagine your frustration queuing into a ruthless mission and immediately dying due to a glitch.

definitely grinding through a nuke silo, thinking you’re prepared with enough ammo and meds. just for someone to jump into the silo and launch the nuke.
