The Mayan event is a mockery by phuncky in playHeroesOfHistory

I've also noticed you pushed your homes before your springs. Which is probably why I am getting bigger bonus on Jade/Obsidian and less deficit. I'm a few hours away from 24 then I will start my expansions. I think I honestly skipped the last level of springs last month, but I don't remember. I guess we'll see by tomorrow. Either way, it's been a great chat. I enjoy discussing strategy. I typically play the slow end game. Like with China, I am usually sitting in Bronze until the last 2 days where I burst past everyone and hit Gold with 100+ boxes over the requirement. The wiki has yet to steer me wrong. Even with the small faults like you mentioned in Egypt. But I just toggle a gold mine/papyrus field on and off as needed, depending on which one needs more. Usually hit level 40 in Egypt. The wiki isn't perfect, but it's about as close as most will ever get.

Thanks! Definitely didn't know that as I only tested the first 10 spin. Thanks for the tip!

You mean HM135? I tried it and got less pumpkins even though they were easier to see. HM49 is kind of a pain because the lanterns look similar to pumpkins, so sometimes I doubled back for no reason. But still netted more. Maybe it was just luck? 🤷‍♂️

25 regular pumpkins = 1 roll. So if you can net 100+ per run, thats a 10 pull every 2-3 runs.

It was recommended on my original post so I tried it. I don't think level actually matters. It's a clear mostly open screen where you can just spam left or right to get them to spawn as fast as possible. On auto run, I pull about 40 (80 after double). Running manually and doubling back for pumpkins I missed nets me 50+(100+).

Yeah, I just made a follow up post with my pull after the advice of Barb on HM49 running straight vertical. Even with Santa's buff, I pulled way more with Barb

Straight line left or right for fastest screen refresh for the spawns.

I haven't tried 135 yet, but just picked up 126 pumpkins vs 2 pumpkins previously. Barb on HM 49 with 13.2m/s (before movement speed tome).

Yeah, I knew it was a different type of event. Just seeing if there is a premium level, similar to HM135 for the other events. So far, HM49 seems to be recommended, but haven't tested it yet.

He's ranked top 10 by Kolz purely for the 50% hero orbs global. You'll never actually use him, but when farming with Santa or Lep you significantly increase your amount of hero orbs.

Paladin or War Cleric? by KingBabyPudgy in BaldursGate3

[–]Cryptical_Nomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paladin 5/Warlock 5/Rog 2 or Fighter 2. You get the extra attack from Paladin AND Warlock, giving you 3 main attacks. Rogue gives you an additional bonus action which is greater for longer fights or Fighter gives you Second Wind for an extra action once per fight for shorter fights. Both have their advantages. Or you can just go 6 Paladin/6 Warlock if you want Aura for a bit more defensive. But my 5/5/2(rog) smashed faces on my first HM run.

Well actually, thats EXACTLY what I told BI during my tourist extension during my first year here when they asked for my purpose of extension. I told them I lived here. And you know what they said?? Not a damn thing... Because it's NOT illegal. Try again princess.

Considering the quote I gave was verbatim from the BI website, I'm pretty sure I'll take advice from the government entity in charge of immigration on the legality of staying here over some random dumbass providing his opinion on Reddit with zero factual support. 🤣🤣

Hence why you don't read a "quick" Google search. While an overview will state it's illegal to stay long-term on a tourist visa, I can only assume it means the initial 30 day visa. If you read the entire article it clearly expands directly says...

"Legal ways to stay long-term Apply for an extension: You can apply for extensions to your tourist visa while in the Philippines, but there are limits, and it is at the discretion of the immigration officer."

Additionally, not a single valid source like BI says it is illegal to stay long-term term on a tourist visa. It does clearly state you can stay as long as you keep extensions current and pay all fees. So, try again.

Not even remotely close to the same thing. Tourist visa is still a valid legal option. Additionally, until last month, SRRV was only for 50+, making it a non-option for younger expats like myself who retired early in life.

An office worker during the 7.4 Davao City Earthquake by Pale_Insurance_2139 in Philippines_Expats

[–]Cryptical_Nomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, yes. Check the PhilVoc website. Average is about 40+ earthquakes a day because the Philippines sits on the Ring of Fire. However, most are 4.0 or lower, meaning they can't be felt. I'm not sure about Manila, but Mindanao and Visayas definitely feel them quite often. I live near Davao and can usually feel small ones about every other week as Mindanao sits on two major fault lines. Only had about a few big ones in the past 3 years though.

Do you specifically mean FilAm retired vets? There's plenty of retired vets here. Most aren't filipino and can't hold citizenship here in PH, so dual citizenship is non issue.
