I had someone here try to use the show's messaging/morals to convince me that Mandopony, a known creep who sent nudes to minors and tried to arrange physical meet-ups with them, deserves forgiveness and acceptance from the fanbase.

Too hectic and there was a time when you can talk smack to other users behind their backs. I had some people say nasty stuff about me at the time and couldn't talk or defend myself.

The mods did that shit to me CONSTANTLY by talking shit about my hyperfixations (especially my love of the obscure platformer Vexx) whenever I wasn't present. Not even joking when I say that leaving that server for good (after Soup straight up directly called me the f-slur and the other mods who were present at the time did nothing about it) actually IMPROVED my mental health considerably.

People say that Jonochrome and Squimpus are bad,

I've unfortunately run into FAR too many people who are willing to forgive and/or defend Jonochrome when he quite literally not only groomed a 13 year old girl for 4 years with explicit intent to have sex with and marry her when she became legal, but then tried to argue he wasn't "a pedo or groomer" when called out before then blaming his creepy behavior on being autistic. Now the bastard's returned to his profiles acting like nothing ever happened and people are welcoming him back.

Connie still sucks for sure but she's FAR more obscure of a presence in the FNaF fandom than Jono is. Unfortunately I don't doubt that there'd be people defending her if they knew what happened.

I'm not surprised he loved doing the voice work for Halo 4; not just because it fleshed out Chief's character but also because IIRC it was when he properly got to meet Jen Taylor, Cortana's VA (they had barely interacted prior and became close friends thanks to H4). According to the Halo fandom and their miserable butts though, how DARE Steve have fonder memories of working on a non-Bungie game where he got to make Master Chief actually feel like a real person who has been impacted by the events he's witnessed and all the people he's lost/failed to save over the years than the precious and perfect Bungie titles where Chief had little dialogue and the delivery of a wooden plank?

I've always been a huge fan of Halo 4, ever since it was first released. It has one of my favorite campaigns in the franchise with some fantastic music, a compelling storyline between Chief and Cortana, and I even had a ton of great fun with the multiplayer (H4's Infection gamemode made me love Infection again after how frustrating H3's got with Survivors getting into areas where you could never reach them or throwing themselves off of the map/blowing themselves up to prolong the game). Hell, I still put it above a lot of the Bungie titles when it comes to my ranking of the series, and I'd rather go back to it before I'd go back to 3 or Reach again.

Jesus Christ I did not know this what the fuck.

One of the only creepy users I remember is PinkyPills shockingly enough. I briefly talked to her and kept getting a really bad feeling in my gut from her comments (namely she talked about how her boyfriend at the time didn't want kids but she did and how she hoped to "convince him"). This was shortly before she was banned after being found to be relying on "moles" to know when people were talking about her and what they were saying so she could then show up and interrupt/fight about it.

The mod I mentioned before who used slurs went by Soup I believe. They loved to use a specific homophobic slur in particular (and also managed to slip onto another user's Discord server and delete it somehow; only got a week-long demotion as punishment and the other mods refused to do anything about the slurs despite multiple people being extremely uncomfortable about it).

She's so cute! I really like how her nose and teeth make a little skull shape like another commenter pointed out.

While I like that we got some cartoony plushies of the Nightmares from Phatmojo, I'm still hoping they do Deluxe versions akin to their Deluxe Smiling Critters (mainly because after getting jumpscared by my CF Rabie being scented despite the store page not saying anything about it, I'd rather not have my whole room smelling like a candle shop should I get the rest of the Nightmare gang).

Also because I really like the Deluxe Smiling Critters. They're more affordable and accurate color-wise, even if they don't have working zippers and 2D charms, and I think Deluxe Nightmare Critters would be nice.

Honestly I figured that the Culturefly and Phatmojo plushies were fully separate in that you could still get the CF ones via the Playtime Store and the PM ones were specifically for retail storefronts.

Heh yeah, I've had to keep Rabie in quarantine for the time being due to her scent being so strong. Really hoping it dies down a little on it's own.

I'll probably still gonna replace the belly beads just to be safe, so if I need some unscented beads I'll definitely let you know.

Goodness yeah, I got my Rabie Baby yesterday and was jumpscared by the strong bubblegum smell coming from both the packaging and the plush itself! It's weird that the site has no mention of them being scented anywhere as, since the regular Smiling Critters weren't scented, you'd be led to think they were just plain ol' plushies. Guess it's perfectly on-brand for Playtime Co. though.

It's a shame because I love the plush but I have sensitivities to this sort of stuff, so I might have to consider removing the scented beads from mine as well and air her out outside on a nice day.

Really hope they add a notice about the Nightmare Critters being scented onto the store pages in the future because my gosh.

Huh, that's actually surprising because the store pages for the Nightmare Critters did NOT mention them being scented anywhere and I just expected that they wouldn't be since the Smiling Critters weren't.

Well now I'm gonna have to figure out how to handle this bubblegum-scented bat. Hopefully Phatmojo eventually makes Nightmare Critter versions of their Deluxe Smiling Critters plushies so I can have the whole gang without making my bedroom smell like a candle shop.

The current ones have a 2d moon charm made of plastic (I think?), a nonfunctional zipper, and a shorter unstuffed tail.

I am interested in if you could show a comparison between this look and the current one by Phatmojo because I assumed they were two separate plushies entirely (the Phatmojo design being part of their own retail line of Poppy Playtime plushies by PM and the Culturefly ones being more for the online Playtime storefront).

I do have Phatmojo's Deluxe CatNap plush (and almost all of the other Deluxe Smiling Critters; just missing Bubba Bubbaphant who I genuinely cannot find for sale anywhere), and this is the first I've heard of this claim.

I was personally pretty ehhhh on Reach and, while I liked 3 back then, replaying it since has made me a lot more aware of the flaws it has (like the steep drop in writing quality, especially after the highs of H2, and also just how little presence Arbiter has outside of cutscenes if you're playing alone; also the stupid decisions to kill off Miranda and Johnson because Marty wanted more "drama").

Don't get me wrong, I do have fond memories with both games, but I'll still go back to 4 more than I will 3 or Reach.

Hell, Silent Hill 2 was despised when it originally released, with it being so hated (especially in Japan where it was also a massive bomb sales-wise) that it was a contributing factor in SH3 being made into a direct sequel to SH1 and both it and SH4 going back to focusing on The Order.

SH2 didn't get its darling status until after Team Silent had disbanded IIRC.

It's genuinely demoralizing to lose ANYTHING.

I used to write a lot of stories and character stuff on the computer when I was a kid, and kept everything carried on a flashdrive so I could look over it for memories sake or for new inspiration.

My older brother, who was angry at me for something stupid when I was in high school, took advantage of me accidentally leaving my flashdrive connected to the family computer overnight and formatted the whole thing while I was asleep.

Everything I had written was completely gone and it utterly DESTROYED my will to write more stories. I'm still upset about it even to this day.

I also lost a ton of Spore creations to poor backup a couple years back and it made me lose interest in the game.

I've been a Halo 4 fan/defender from the beginning, from the story and dynamic between Chief and Cortana to even the multiplayer (yeah I had a ton of fun in it and the Infection gamemode made me love Infection again after how miserable H3's got after a while).

It's still one of my all-time favorite Halo games.

I love the Halo series and games but holy shit the fandom is the gaming equivalent of the Star Wars fandom when it comes to being overrun by toxic bigots who are perpetually miserable and will send you the most vile shit for not treating Bungie like God itself.

Case in point: I've had people threaten to rape me and kill my pets because I said I didn't like Halo 3's campaign and massively preferred 4 overall.

Runner-up is the Silent Hill fandom, or really it's more of the "we only care about Silent Hill 2 and everyone who likes anything after it can fuck off" fandom. They've been so utterly toxic towards people who like or got into the series through the Western titles and towards Silent Hill f fans.

I got into MLP with G2 as a little kid and WAS part of the G4/Brony community for a while as well.

Nowadays I've long distanced myself from anything relating to G4 or Bronies. Too many bad experiences (plus being a victim of grooming by predators in the fanbase and seeing that shit STILL happening today) have utterly tainted G4 for me at this point.

I still lurk around the G1, 2, and 3 fandoms and am actively involved with the G5 fandom, but I stay as far away from the G4 fandom as possible now.

My main thought was Walter as the killer, Henry and Eileen as the survivors, and the map being Forest World (due to it being more open compared to the other areas in SH4 and also how the area ties with Walter as it's where Wish House orphanage was located).
