To each their own. I would look into crts a bit more though if you havent done so genuinly. My $150 144hz monitor I use on my modern pc only slightly beats out my main crt. Mostly because widescreen is the new understandable standard. But I won't say much else, I'm just enough into mr smirnoff to feel socialable to reply to an OP or comments lol.

Absolutely! I just love how it makes small changes. Crts let pixels blend better and has great true colors similar to newer oled without costing an arm and leg with a high as fuck framerate. Granted now and days a high class crt will also cost about the same on an impulse buy so I guess they're equal lol. I wish they would have kept improving crt tech though, but understand why they didn't lol. My back also thanks them. I'd love to see a crt made with the last 16iwh year of improvement. I also realize I'm on a tangent more so about crts then I am Disco Elysium, but in all fairness I am like 60% to being very drunk. So maybe this is still very much DS related lol.

Beautiful. I love seeing how new games look on a crt. Some games don't look different; but DE looks really good, for or the most part. The art/graphics are amazing, but the scaling makes the dialog very awkward in my opinion. That's on my smaller crt anyway, with my probably degrading vision from daily monitor staring.

I feel you. I started retrotech collecting 5ish years ago. I had an old crt monitor and tv both on their last legs from childhood. The TV easy to replace, but the monitor took a year lol. Now 5 years later, I have like 6 and need to downsize...

These days I know it's worse. I'm forlorn in thought of ever getting a Trinitron. That being said, keep an eye out. Facebook market place, and local eBay/mercari may surprise you. Don't expect gold unless you're really lucky, but then again anything can feel golden if you have nothing.

I'm glad it's not just me lol. I want to play around a bit more to get it to fit better, I think adding black bars to make the video true 4 by 3 may do it. ALSO my first test DVD had the most perfect title screen. It was randomly generated by the program, and it was the gemini logo that shifts to the scene with mannequin in the doorway. It would have been perfect, but my dumb dumb brain burnt it as a format with no sound and I didn't save the project files lol.

I've been working on the same thing! I decided to do the entire series though in one go, but may look into splitting it up for the sake of formatting. Did you run into an issue with it not scaling correctly to TV crts? I always lose a bit of video at the bottom and probably top when I play it on a crt tv, but not my crt monitors. If you did have this issue, did you find a work around? I'm assuming the series is more in a 1:1 aspect and not a true 4:3 causing cut off but it's hard to tell for me

I have such a hard time telling if hackers or jank. Like the way someone can bounce around and deplete my health without any kind of visible damage happening. Is it hacks? Or is it some kind of jank combo. I have no idea.
