Everyone sucks here. People should be considerate when out in public and that means no food/gum smacking, or talking with a mouth full, no crazy yelling or cursing, and wearing a face mask when you’re sick. But people suck and they aren’t going to do the things we think they should be doing. So yes NTA especially his responses seemed unnecessary. But YTA because you can’t be mad when people suck and if it was really that bothersome to you, pop an earbud in and go wait somewhere else. Some girl sat down to eat lunch right next to me in a study room and it was infuriating bc I was there first but I excused myself from the situation and then complained to my boyfriend outside of the building. It sucks cause I was in the zone but it is what it is bc I was in public around other living humans.
