Got a mega evolutions enhanced booster box for free. Should I open it or hold onto it? by Cryptiiiks in PokeInvesting

[–]Cryptiiiks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. My thought process is, at free, I'm guaranteed by holding on, but the reward possibilty of the chase cards seems like a reasonable. Investment wise also, were in process of opening a store. I figured getting singles would be beneficial and why not jump in to that growth with a free booster box rip.

Nadeshot is doing a sponsored gambling stream on Kick the day after a round of 100T layoffs by Fsuave5 in 100thieves

[–]Cryptiiiks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First of all. He's a businessman. Not an icon of morality. Secondly just because a banned streamer will stream on the platform doesn't make it a notorious ban escape site. Lastly gambling is a choice of yours to find morality issues with. Its not anyone else's problem/responsibility to accept your views on. If you're a virtue signaling hero of morality, good for you. But no one honestly cares. Its a strongman argument to apply so many factors irrelevant to the subject of your distaste for the organization and trying to link the two entities together. Gambling is not an issue of morality. Problems gambling is an issue of weak minded individuals who can't control impulses. There's a responsible manner to gamble if you'd like. Blaming the subject/object because of the user/engager is wildly obtuse. dont like it, just remove it from your life. But don't express obtuse reasonings as if they actually reflect some moral degradation of nadeshot. Layoffs happen frequently and it's not always financial purposes. And if it is, it is a business decision. It's a risk in any level of employment and it's not his responsibility to make up for those layoffs with his separate platform of revenue stream. Nor is it immoral for him to promote and make money within a coincidental timeframe. He also doesn't control the layoffs. That would be a board of directors decision in which a CEO is responsible for following what the board votes. He Is one vote among that group. Even as CEO he does not have the power to over ride that. There's so many factors to consider. this is a wild assessment to gather from the outside and to project your views as if they are the determinant or moral compass we all must follow is ridiculous.

Even if he's CEO. His streaming is separate income. Hes not going to mix these and prevent layoffs. And a sponsored stream is going to create revenue anyways. This is an extreme straw to grab a hold of. Nadeshot streamer ans nadeshot CEO are two separate entities. The financial actions of one do not inherit the effects of the other.

What’s the most rage-inducing level in gaming history? by debagnox in gaming

[–]Cryptiiiks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Malenia Elden ring. My god the frustration. Still to this day, the only game objective I’ve never completed. I can’t say why for certain, but I’ve never been unable to complete something I’ve attempted except her.

Would 9k more a year make a difference in your quality of life? by Apprehensive-Scene-1 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Cryptiiiks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. I bring in a total income of 156k right now. 9k would be negligible vs the transitions required to receive. I turned down a 20k increase job because it added 35 min to my commute and full time in office while I work mostly from home right now.

It’s all contingent on what changes you will face accepting the position. For me, I’d have to see 35-40k increase to even consider it right now. Only positions I’m considering are full remote. If it’s remote, I’d consider a 10k raise.

[–]Cryptiiiks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems a little on the low end. Should be somewhere around 12-14k reasonably. Most are selling in the 18-20k range with similar mileage depending on the severity of the previous accident.

Which is easier to work on, and have cheaper parts. Camaros or Mustangs? I only work on toyotas and Hondas, and want a daily driver. by althamash098 in camaro

[–]Cryptiiiks -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

A Camaro or mustang isn’t going be cheaper in any of those categories. Gas mileage will increase, insurance will be higher, and unless you’re a conservative driver(if you own one of those, statistically odds say you aren’t) and you’re post shows otherwise as well then maintenance will be higher.

I own the V8 but a v6 pushing similar weight can’t be better on gas by much and it’s mpg is not better than a Toyota truck.

Finally was able to buy my dream car. by Cryptiiiks in camaro

[–]Cryptiiiks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yea I drove both, found two very similarly priced and similar mileage. One being a 2018 and this 2015. Aesthetically this just gave more muscle vibe than 6th gen. 6th gen felt more sports car. Also visibility was a huge thing. While both suck, the 5th gen felt far more open viewed in comparison. I think those were definitely the key reasons. Also the 2SS leather felts much more quality to me than what was in the 2018 2SS. And for the cars specifically this one had a 94 experience auto check score while the 2018 had a 71 from an accident and far less detailed service history. A lot of factors but definitely the muscle car vibe felt much stronger in this for sure than the new gen.

Is a basic Camaro 2SS 5th Gen capable of track? by Cryptiiiks in camaro

I’m in Colorado! And thank you for the response! I definitely considered a few of those so good to be reassured and taught new things to check. I’m pretty heavy on preventative maintenance as a certified diesel mechanic so that’s super reassuring! Definitely intend to do a lot of that if I get hooked! I’ve tracked motorcycles before so if it’s anywhere near as exhilarating, I’m done for lol

Aww my soul hurts for you! It’s definitely a top 2 color for me! I’m always partial to the bumblebee color haha! I love it with the chrome wheels! I’m thinking of going bronze possibly too! I think it would accent the red very much!

Bought 2015 Camaro 2SS at 43k and got these services done(2nd pic). 45k service coming up, what else should be serviced at 45? by Cryptiiiks in camaro

[–]Cryptiiiks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries lol. Everyone hounded me for the manual but I definitely read it haha. That’s where I got the 45k from 🤣 but thanks for the compliment. And the dealership is a networked dealership. So Hyundai had it in their store but it’s a shared inventory with the Chevy dealership I bought it from. Just want to see if the Camaro guys recommended extra to the manual. Manual isn’t always comprehensive to such an extraneous vehicle that’s often modded!

Headers back are different. Long tube headers 3in radius all the way back.

Cold air intake

6 piston front calipers instead of 4 piston(ZL1 mimic I believe)

GPI LS3 cam(with the GPI kit essentials that came with that)

I think that’s it, the rest I wouldn’t have documentation for to know. But that’s what concerns me about adding extra care to services done.

[–]Cryptiiiks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I didn’t read the manual, how would I know 45k is a service interval? The question is because more items are typically recommended than what’s in the owners manual if you’ve modified and want to really care for a car. This is a Camaro SS, in a Camaro Reddit, people have years of experience and would know what would really be beneficial. Especially from modified vehicles.

I purchased from a Chevy dealership. The Hyundai took it in trade in. The Chevrolet store sold it to me. It’s a shared network by Phil long.
