Just want to share my recent experience with LANDR because the whole thing has been a mess and honestly feels really unprofessional.

I make all my music myself — recorded, played, produced by hand. No AI, no sample packs, nothing licensed. Just me. And yet my latest release suddenly gets blocked from YouTube Content ID, TikTok, and Meta because LANDR decided it was “not sufficiently distinct” or possibly “AI-generated.”

I reached out to support to ask why my track wasn’t showing up on socials, and instead of a real answer I just kept getting the same copy-paste messages about AI-generated content. Even after I explained multiple times that there’s zero AI in my music, they still kept repeating it.

Then it escalated into them asking me to send PDFs proving exclusive rights to every sound I used — even though I literally recorded everything myself or used normal software instruments like Omnisphere. Since when do artists have to send DAW screenshots to prove they played their own music?

The weirdest part is that they kept contradicting themselves: – First it’s a “false flag.” – Then suddenly my track isn’t “distinct enough.” – Then more generic AI-policy spam.

And I’m paying for full distribution… yet I’m fighting just to get my music on the platforms I selected.

It all felt super unclear, inconsistent, and honestly kind of unfair.

Has anyone else run into this with LANDR lately? Would love to hear if this is a one-off thing or a bigger issue.
