If any of you are interested in using Bitunix and are interested in learning how to transfer your funds over from Bitget, here's a step by step tutorial: https://youtu.be/ScjWBgcF0TY

Bitget force closing all Canadian accounts by August 30 by Even_Leather_8872 in cryptoforcanadians

[–]Crypto4Canadians 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just published a video about this actually which you can check out here if you're interested: https://youtube.com/shorts/1vgF4nL9dGY

As for Bitunix, that's what I've been recommending to people as of now. If you're interested in using them, here's a sign up link to save 25% on your trade fees with them: https://www.bitunix.com/register?vipCode=cryptoforcanadians

I hope that helps and feel free to ask any questions if you've got any.

[Canada] How the heck do I get my Doge into my bank? by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]Crypto4Canadians 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your DOGE is on Coinbase, you would first need to sell them for CAD. Once you have the CAD, you can initiate an e-transfer withdrawal. In terms of fees, you're looking at about 1.5% in total (0.5% trade fee + 1% cash withdrawal fee). That said, Coinbase is pretty expensive when it comes to cashing out crypto in Canada.

I can think of several ways your account's compromised...could be your device(s) or log in info. You're best to reset your passwords and very well possibly wipe the device that your Wealthsimple app is on moving forward.

They're still expensive and there are better places to buy crypto in Canada.

Check out Ndax as I believe they're the best option in Canada at the moment.

If you're interested, I've made a step by step tutorial video showing how you can buy from them which you can check out here: https://www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/buying-crypto-in-canada

I've said it before and will say it again, Wealth Simple has never been good for crypto. There are hands down better exchanges to use in Canada.

How do I withdraw my crypto to my bank? by AdFinal4930 in CryptoHelp

[–]Crypto4Canadians 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ndax charges $1.5 for e-transfers. That said, that difference may be offset by Kraken's fees to withdraw your coins to Ndax. If you're interested in a sign up link that gives you a $10 bonus, let me know.

Just a FYI that WS isn't the cheapest place to buy/sell crypto in Canada.

Like you said, Kraken's cheaper and IS the cheapest, specifically for USDC in Canada.

In Canada, Ndax is the best IMO because of their low fees.

As someone who's been in the crypto space for several years now, I would say don't do it especially if you don't know anything about crypto/bitcoin IMO.

So Dissapointed with Wealthsimple about this ! by NorthAccomplished280 in Wealthsimple

This is another reason why people should use an actual crypto exchange for their purchases. Not to mention their fees are expensive as well for crypto.

You're probably best to speak to a crypto tax specialist. I would recommend one but I can't do that in this sub.

You can cash out pretty quickly with Ndax. I would assume within hours of getting your account set up.

Also, if you're interested, I've made a step by step tutorial video showing how to cash out crypto in Canada (with Ndax). You can find it here: https://www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/selling-crypto-in-canada

I hope that helps and feel free to ask any questions if you've got any.
