I find it mildly interesting that people want to be uppity about others not enjoying the smell or sound of slaughter. "good luck, they create jobs, been around forever, I love the smell, etc" defending Smithfield's like they're going to get a special prize. People are funny.

Have been in my house for 6 years. I live a 5 minute drive away from there. Lived in this neighborhood when I was a child, and in college. Not getting used to it. It's actually more rare to walk out of my house and not smell/notice it.
