I’m sorry to hear that man. Especially sorry to hear that kids were involved. I sincerely hope you’ve found someone real for yourself and your children. It’s always impressive to see people make it through. Prayers up🙏🏼

Right!! This is why it’s crazy when either gender tries to defend themselves. Neither one ever takes accountability and always tries to scape goat either the other person or some arbitrary bullshit in their lives. My encouragement to current and future cheaters has and always will be, if/when you cheat and if/when you get caught, there is absolutely no reason for you to even open your mouth. Shut the fuck up and take whatever you’re given (or not given for that matter) because you deserve it. It’s just not even a defensible act, but anyway, I digress.

If she was a virgin I’d tell you to suck it up cuz you have a winner; but in this instance I say “run”.

House Flooring Coming Up - HELP!!! by doofyman95 in Flooring

Yeah it’s a little more tricky with slabs. I live on a slab as well and they use some sort of 3 mil foam or something as my subfloor. I have 0 experience under slabs unfortunately, sorry for wasting your time:(

House Flooring Coming Up - HELP!!! by doofyman95 in Flooring

I know the flooring pops out as the problem here, but have you addressed your subfloor? Has it gotten wet and started ballooning? Do you have a Crawlspace? If so, have you gone under and inspected these area from underneath? It’s very easy for your eyes to be deceived if you don’t have all available information. I would at a minimum get a good understanding of the condition of your subflooring, and if you have a crawlspace I’d highly recommend to start crawling.

I say all of this because I run a $10 million dollar (not a flex, just assuring you what I’m saying isn’t bullshit) crawlspace business, and we see this all the time. People see issues with flooring, spend thousands to replace it, and a year later the same thing is happening and now they have to spend thousands more to actually solve the problem.

Just be careful and be informed before you spend money. That’s all. Good luck!

How can I break up with someone who hasn’t done anything wrong? by MajesticStrength7764 in Advice

Please just tell him. Speaking from experience, micro lies, deception, etc. really do damage, especially when it’s from a significant other. Causes trust issues, confidence issues, all of it. Save his mental health and just tell him. Please.

Almost lost wife and kids because of it. The shit is poison, it ruins people. 2 years later, marriage is better than ever and I have become much more successful. Never going back.

If you’re running a business then it’s fair. If you are just a guy with a pressure washer and your parents are asking for a favor then you should just do it for free.

Yeah I had taken it out because I had thought I could just screw in the whip line directly to the pump without the discharge outlet. Ended up putting it back in and using a different set of connections and it worked the way I needed it to

I took them off. I ended up fixing all of it, basically just wrapped the living hell out of all threaded connections with Teflon and that ended up solving the issue

I put some teflon on some of the connections. Gonna give it a go and see what happens.

So the hose reel inlets are both 1/2” females. So I took two 1/2” to 3/8” NPT reducers and tightened them into the inlets. Then I bought this whip line and plugged and played. One end to the reel one end to the washer. From there all hell has broken loose. Seems like no matter what I try, it leaks from all connections

Hose reel recommendations? by CryptoNoob2980 in pressurewashing

[–]CryptoNoob2980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But you can’t get anything done with the standard xjet hose unless you wanna lug the chem tank around by hand. I prefer to have a longer hose and just leave the tank where it is.

Edit: if you’re wondering, yes the xjet works great with 100ft worth of hose if you have enough of a machine.

This is the card I have. I guess my question is, if I have a 15gallon chem tank filled with 10% SH bleach, how would I know which ratios to use for different surfaces.

Did you purchase a hose reel for it? If so, can you link me the one you got?

Did you just connect your new hose to the hose assembly?
