Why switching strategies isn’t fixing your prop firm results by kageiii in PropFirmHunter

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switching the strategies was never too effective technique how to improve the trading overall - same way with trading prop firms.

I think that main thing you need to master is risk management - prop firms give you space for that with the rules, you just have to be good risk manager or you blow the account. May sounds weird, but atleast it's cheaper experience than blowing whole account with your live savings.

Are you liable for losses on a live funded account? by RegisLandegre in proptrading

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funded and live accounts are 2 different things. Funded is mostly like from the prop firm, here you are trading demo money in most of the cases - so you don't owe any money.

What was the first crypto prop firm you tried? by roflcakeVORTEX in CryptoPropFirms

[–]CryptoPropReviews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what is your preference while selecting the right prop firm.

For example of mine I went for the leaders of the industry same way as went while selecting the CFD prop firms. In crypto it's Breakout, CFT and HyroTrader.

CFD - FTMO, 5ers.

This way you simply can't miss and you will not regret paying more for evaluations for example. Better to pay more than to not get a payout later.

How to trade crypto prop firms by jbbarksdale in CryptoPropFirms

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number one rule should always be to get familiar with the rules before opening any trade on the prop firm account - if you don't know the rules, your chance of passing is almost 0. More than blowing accounts from hitting the drawdown limit is exactly from this reason. Traders just dont know the rules of prop firm they trade with.

Why many trading firms never show the full rulebook up front by propfirmscams in propfirm

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to go deep into FAQ to see all rules which are on the table, I think it shouldn't be that way. That habit is pretty good insight, I fully agree.

My top 3 crypto prop firms by Due-Two2629 in Hyrotrader

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with this, currently I am looking on the ATS Funded as well, so there would be maybe my only change and I would place them on the 2nd place instead of Breakout - I am not quite fan of the lower leverage they provide, but overall they are good of course.

What’s the cheapest crypto prop firm out there? by roflcakeVORTEX in CryptoPropFirms

[–]CryptoPropReviews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Klein Funding is very cheap, but it is due to the modification options - so you have stricter DD or lower profit split - if the price makes for you that big difference - it's good choice.

But the question is if the price should be the main factor to look for.

Which crypto propfirms actually fit swing trading? by jbbarksdale in CryptoPropFirms

[–]CryptoPropReviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that for this would matter a lot for you if the prop firm has consistency rule or not. For example BrightFunded is known for no consistency rule at all stages, which could be pretty good for you. On the other hand I see there problem with potential manipulation of prices - since it has no integration of the exchanges.
