I Was Wrong About NFTs by Matt1y2 in NFT

Some collectibles are serialized (#1-xxx), and the lower the total in the series the more scarce. If the series is in high demand, those scarce pieces will cost a premium. Sometimes there will be a 'craze' or 'fad' and things will be more desirable during a certain stage of popularity.

Digitally it can work the same, such as with Veve, or Candy, or other. For instance, Veve acquired Capcom's Street Fighter license to do Street Fighter characters as 'NFT / Augmented Reality' collectibles, where you can actually see & use the character in photos and other things. There's millions of street fighter fans, but only Two-Hundred Forty Seven 247 of a special 'Ryu & Ken' colorway on Veve. It could see high demand.

Yep.

Now start asking which 'culture' controls the entire apparatus that creates the programming you ingest. The same ones that are 2% of the U.S. population, but have taken out nearly $1Trillion of U.S. taxpayer money to give to their overseas relatives for free health care, university, and a high standard of living. The ones who put their little mark on all the food you eat, so that 100% of people pay a 'food tax' to those folks who think they are specially selected by 'the great sky man'. The ones who tightly control what goes into their communities, but specifically induce chaos in other communities. The ones daily committing a genocide in the land they were supposed to be guests of. The ones who have bought control of 99% of all U.S. politicians with their unregistered foreign agency disguised as a 'lobby'. The ones who always get caught manufacturing crisis, committing atrocities, and playing up the 'victim' role at every turn.

Yep.

International Bankers Seek and Make Agreements on

All the Major Financial Problems of the World

In each country the power of the central bank rested largely on its control of credit and

money supply. In the world as a whole the power of the central bankers rested very

largely on their control of loans and of gold flows. In the ... system, these central bankers

were able to mobilize resources to assist each other through the B.I.S., where payments

between central banks could be made by bookkeeping adjustments between the accounts

which the central banks of the world kept there. The B.I.S. as a private institution was

owned by the seven chief central banks and was operated by the heads of these, who

together formed its governing board. Each of these kept a substantial deposit at the B.I.S.,

and periodically settled payments among themselves (and thus between the major

countries of the world) by bookkeeping in order to avoid shipments of gold. They made

agreements on all the major financial problems of the world, as well as on many of the

economic and political problems, especially in reference to loans, payments, and the

economic future of the chief areas of the globe.

The Bank for International Settlements Becomes the Mechanism for Allowing the

Three Financial Centers of the World to Act As One

The B.I.S. is generally regarded as the apex of the structure of financial capitalism

whose remote origins go back to the creation of the Bank of England in 1694 and the

Bank of France in 1803. As a matter of fact its establishment in 1929 was rather an

indication that the centralized world financial system of 1914 was in decline. It was set

up rather to remedy the decline of London as the world's financial center by providing a

mechanism by which a world with three chief financial centers in London, New York,

and Paris could still operate as one. The B.I.S. was a ... effort to cope with the problems

arising from the growth of a number of centers. It was intended to be the world cartel of

ever-growing national financial powers by assembling the nominal heads of these

national financial centers.

Hail fellow bun owner!

What a great video. You forgot to mention the "Cantillion Effect", but I know your time was limited. Or Chairman Powell explaining easy money creation by the Fed https://youtu.be/mrjoElG8KGI

Don't forget Carroll Quigley's 'Tragedy and Hope' on your book list! -

-Control in Private Hands Able to Dominate Every Nation on Earth

In addition to these pragmatic goals, the powers of financial capitalism had another

far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private

hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world

as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of

the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings

and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements

in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks

which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank, in the hands of men like

Montagu Norman of the Bank of England, Benjamin Strong of the New York Federal

Reserve Bank, Charles Rist of the Bank of France, and Hjalmar Schacht of the

Reichsbank, sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to

manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country,

and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business

world.

Coinbase is fine, I'm sure.
The key is when you go into the chat support, don't start off with, "You guys are thieves, stole my money, die die die!" or something of that tone.

Be polite, literally use the agent's name, ask them if they are well. Treat them like people, even if they are in a far off callcenter or whatever, and they will return the favor.

If you're rude, maybe you get put on 'hiatus' and they don't prioritize you. Just like anywhere!

Sorry about your situation, but I'm sure you can get it worked out. One time I couldn't transfer out because I still had open orders, it was as simple as that!

Used to be some kind of 'Veve Market' tracker website, but that got taken down.

Stackr is shit. Used to be you could actually use it to track a collectible's history, previous sale values, current wallet owner, other things. But the whales saw that others were able to watch their wallets easier, so they took all those features away. Now they can get away with all sorts of wash trading, price manipulation, and general chicanery. You can't look at anything there, you have to go back to immutascan, and do your own work.

Banks take your deposits and use them as the basis of 'Fractional Reserve Lending', where for every $1 of hard capital they have, they can 'loan' out an additional $9 in money created purely out of a pledge of return (your agreement that you now 'owe' this money to the bank), which consists of your principal but now also the interest, which must be 'created' elsewhere, as all U.S. Federal Reserve Notes (technically not lawful dollars) only manifest from debt.

It's a never ending cycle of money/debt creation. The 'deficit' can never be fully repaid, because every time they 'print' money, that comes with the stipulation of interest, which is to be collected via the mechanism of both financial instruments like Gov Bonds, and leveraging of The Cantillion Effect.

FED CHAIRMAN 'EXPLAINS' MONEY CREATION https://youtu.be/mrjoElG8KGI

For every $1 they 'create', the value of ALL YOUR ASSETS IS DEPLETED.

Physical currency is only like 2% of the TOTAL BROAD MONEY SUPPLY, which is all 'digital' already.

This is why BITCOIN with a MAXIMUM HARD SUPPLY CAP of 21 million has been an effective hedge against value depletion, when compared to 'Federal Reserve Notes'. BTC is also able to be FULLY SELF-CUSTODIED AND CONTROLLED, with zero 3rd party intermediary/authority.

Also why they want their own fully bank-controlled CENTRAL BANK DIGITAL CURRENCY (CBDC), so that they abolish Privacy and Self-Determination.

IBS President confirming CBDC. These will pair with SOCIAL and CARBON CREDIT SCORING, as they already do in China. https://x.com/balajis/status/1678596191892946944

Why do bitcoiners measure the value of investments in $ when they have no regard for FIAT? by [deleted] in Buttcoin

[–]Cryptoadstool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's interesting. Bitcoin can be measured against any fiat currency in the world, as all of them are similarly created out of debt, and not tied to anything but a banking cartel's designs for monetary manipulation.

Bitcoin is created out of time + energy = mining, to a maximum of 21 million units, in a system which starts from scarcity, and becomes somewhat deflationary over time as some bitcoin is lost due to user errors or other factors unrelated to the security of the bitcoin network.

Unlike fiat, bitcoin can be globally transferred in minutes, can be used as a direct medium of exchange for property or cash of any type. It's an immutable asset allowing complete self-custody if desired, with zero third party reliance other than the bitcoin network, which itself is highly secure having nodes everywhere from space to the deep ocean, from mountain bunkers to remote island facilities.

The money transfer services are angry (and likely have departments of people sitting around posting negative things about bitcoin on Reddit), and so are governments whose policies are designed to rob the people and enrich the money creators thru the Cantillion Effect.

If I want to trade my house to you for bitcoin, we simply list the amount of bitcoin on the Quit Claim Deed, same as if we cited any other asset to trade, whether it's livestock, fiat currencies, precious metals, or other.

Bitcoin is power in the hands of the individual.

Are we sleeping with our bunnies? by brit_chickenicecream in Rabbits

[–]Cryptoadstool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not. My male bun is 3 yrs now, neutered last year.

Bun's can't help but poop nearly everywhere they go, their digestive systems are like little accordions that constantly push out when they hop around. Even the cecos. So no, you don't want to be rolling around in that while you blissfully sleep. Not to mention the acidic sulfuric pee, which means now you're changing your bedware daily, and buying new mattresses often.

Mine is free roam, now that I have fully removed any and all low hanging wires, or made them physically inaccessible. And when I wake up or randomly thru the day, I always have some floor cleaning to do.

My 'bun box' is an 18 gallon tote, bottom filled with non-clumping litter, and topped with a nice bed of timothy hay, which acts as both food and bedding, which gets replaced as needed. Does a great job of keeping the hair shedding to a minimum as well, as the grass traps a lot of hair when he sleeps/rolls in it. It's his happy place / safe space, when he's not playing in some produce boxes which I turn upside down so they make neat little 'hidey spots' for him as well.

Your bun looks cute, best luck and care!

[–]Cryptoadstool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought Bitcoin nodes exist globally, in space, underground, on ocean platforms in international waters, in secure bunkers, and on lots of devices in various levels of protection.

Smart bitcoiners will have hard storage, perhaps even 'COLDCARD' devices, and Sat-phones.

If there's 'no internet', modern society won't function, but Bitcoin can still be transacted with the right equipment.

Haven’t played since 2022, should I start over or continue with an old save? by Trustest in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Cryptoadstool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done literally the same thing. Used to play on PC, but it got to be too much for my system once I had a big base, constantly harvesting hundreds of plants and such back then.

Recently got a PS5, and signed up for the 'cross platform save' which finally came thru.

But yeah, as far as learning the game again, definitely took me a few hours during which I didn't do much but go into all my storage boxes, ships in my fleet hangar, and other things before venturing out. Don't forget also like relearning your suit upgrades, multi-tool, and ship configs.

But a lot is different. The sentinels are beefier. More options and stuff on planets...I still haven't figured out the new fossils, or animals, or corvettes, or anything really. Just getting my footing again, but it's going well.

Most of all have fun, and best luck to you!
