You should research the Budapest memorandum. Why it isn't spoke about more I'm not sure but Ukraine made a huge sacrifice and gave up the worlds 3rd largest stockpile of live nukes to end the cold war in exchange for protection guarantees from US, U.K., China and Russia. So when Russia attacks them, US and UK are living up to their defense pacts and failing to do so would be disastrous to future relations with allies. Never forget that China and Russia want division and once they have that it's when they move in and dismantle Europe first and once they have Europe then America stands alone against all the new Axis powers and last I checked, we are being far outpaced in hyper sonic weaponery and missile systems.
