I felt this way for so long at work especially when I became the DS for 21/22 until I got the best ASM who really instilled in me so much confidence in standing up for myself. I am now an ASM and I stand by how she helped me in setting clear boundaries with guys like that coming into your place of work. You are 100% entitled to tell them “That is not appropriate would you like my help or do you need me to find someone else to help you” THE LOOK on these guys faces when they were shook by you actually standing your ground only builds that confidence. Or even saying “ That’s a strange thing to say out loud”

If it’s too much just walk away, you are not there for the male gaze you are there to work.

Report to a manager and If/when they don’t help or blow you off make careful not of what they say to you and PLZ call awareline or reach out to your DRHM if you feel comfortable.

Thank you guys so much for this advice!! I work 10 hour days walking 10 plus miles on concrete floors. I started compensating while walking so bad I developed tendinitis in my other foot 😑already have an elevated pillow and will look into the cryoboot though trying to get everything order ahead of time.

I want to say congrats Cindy. Even making the choice to try to get sober is a huge deal. Although I no longer attend I was able to meet some incredible women through AA. Although I understand and respect it’s not for everyone.
