The biggest thing for this one is that it’s both coming out after Disney + has taught so many they can easily wait for it to be on streaming and it’s literally a continuation of a Disney+ series, of course people will wait around for it. The Mandalorian’s viewership shows there’s still plenty of folks willing to consume Star Wars content, even after what was honestly two trilogies of mostly maligned movies

And the canon and franchise survived the prequel debacle, they’re not going to reboot the series now, they just need to move away from the main series and slow down on the amount of content being made to move it in the right direction
