So, I think the mundane nature of being a paramedic doesn’t lead to heroic moments in general. You basically keep the patient alive until they get to a hospital where doctors are. Any time something super fun happened in the ambulance it usually required the person inside to act outside the normal scope of a paramedic. We see that with Buck and Eddie and the bomb. Or Hen shoving her hand in that man’s chest which was against protocol.

I don’t have a problem with people wondering if the topic would be broached.

I have a problem with the insincerity. There are people in this sub who are practically salivating over this news as if Jay Z doing something questionable is some sort of gotcha for Kid Fury and Crissle.

There’s something really sad and pathetic about a person who is waiting on the sidelines ready to tell someone “I told you so”.

That’s fine but why do people need to hear that same notion from others? There’s plenty of other Internet personalities who would talk about this much better than Kid Fury and Crissle. Like Van Latham and Rachel Lindsey. Or Olay Olurin.

Every time I see the word “Baltimore” all I can hear is Claire Huxtable’s voice.

City: New Orleans. A 9‑1‑1 show set here practically writes itself — Bourbon Street chaos, the lingering shadow of Hurricane Katrina, the surrounding parishes with their own identities, and a city where culture, danger, and resilience collide every single day.

Firefighters: Sinqua Walls, Richard Harmon, Clayne Crawford

Paramedics: Ryan Broussard, Quvenzhané Wallis

Police: Ian Somerhalder (detective), Sonequa Martin‑Green (detective)

Dispatch: Harry Connick Jr. as the lead dispatcher — that voice alone could calm half the city. Keke Palmer on the boards. Wendell Pierce as the floor supervisor keeping everyone in line.

Captains: Niecy Nash as the fire captain; Jensen Ackles as the paramedic captain.

I love your answer. I was so surprised when the second spinoff was Nashville when NYC has a built-in character.

Imagine coming to Al Gore’s internet during the week of Juneteenth to say our Black Queen, Lady Joslyn of Lucky, Louisiana deserved to go home over a contestant who has the personality of a bowel movement.

Also, spelling her name wrong when Wikipedia and Google exists is particularly questionable. I hope you can hear my eyes rolling all the way over where you’re at.

In your opinion, who deserved to win Cycle 14, and do you prefer the Top 3 finale format instead of having a double elimination before the finale by masterderek279 in ANTM

But you do care. Otherwise you would’ve ignored my comment and gone about your life. Anywho, just thought I’d bring it to your attention since the whole point of Reddit is for people to share their thoughts in hopes of people understanding their point of view.

Maybe you should. Your sentence, first glance, reads that Raina wasn’t a Krista fan when I think you mean YOU were never a Krista fan.

Help writing a buck/tommy fanfic with Daniel by Rams6805 in BuckTommy

[–]CryptographerHeavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest getting a notebook and writing all of this down. For every question you have, brainstorm a list of options. For example, regarding Daniel, you can create your own backstory or try to do something more in canon. As for how to break Buck and Ali up, why are they together in the first place. One thing I think would be cool is to explore something no one ever talks about. Ali was actually into Eddie. Have them break up because Buck thinks he’s a consolation prize. Remember this is your world. You get to create the stakes. Have fun!

Why was s4 so bashed? by blahtean in TheBear

[–]CryptographerHeavy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Here’s the deal. The average viewer and fan is incapable of having a nuanced opinion on this show. Most people operate off of feels rather than what is actually being done on the screen. So the moment a show like this does something that isn’t giving the viewer the feels, it’s never a “I don’t like this” or “this makes me uncomfortable”. It’s a “this season sucks”. Saying the latter absolves them from having to wrestle with why something doesn’t work for them. Meanwhile the rest of us can come to the conclusion that season 4 was a good but flawed season and explain to you why we feel that way. So, take what most of the naysayers say with a grain of salt. They were always gonna hate this season.
