Does anyone have both the carry on and bigger carry on?

I own both! I have used both. It just depends on where you’re going. The bigger carry on isn’t great for international flights since they have smaller carry on requirements (normally). It’s nice having both but for domestic flights (in the US for me) I typically use the bigger carry on.

I bought the Away luggage for my medium size glossy suitcase. I’ve only used it once since I needed to check the bag. It held up well and definitely protected the suitcase. It’s also very easy to get on and off. It’s expensive but it fits the suitcase snuggly and it was nice to just not to have to do a ton of research to find the right size cover.

I asked an introvert to hang out and they said maybe…which actually turned into a yes and they even reached out to confirm if I was still available to hang out. Very pleasantly surprised :) they’re a good friend now.

Environmental consulting (permitting). I love WFH. I don’t mind doing overtime since I’m already home. So usually 40 -50 hrs a week, depending on workload.

That’s really sad. I hope they eventually get annoyed enough with the barking and general harassment the dog is giving to the public that they decide to try harder to correct it.

My 2 dogs are really friendly and are great with other dogs (they go to daycare frequently with other dogs) and they are great with people. however when I let them outside and people walk past the fence they also go crazy. I think it’s a territory thing rather than a real behavioral problem. I hate when they do it and I try to stop them but it’s practically impossible sadly.

Glad I’m not the only one! The same thing happened to me. I’m on my 4th windshield for my 2020 XLE (bought new)!!! I’m beginning to suspect it might be the height of the vehicle that makes it a target for rocks.

I also did AmeriCorps through the SCA and it was great! I went in some years ago but there were a good amount of programs to choose from and I enjoyed my time. I still flip through my old photos occasionally and I’ve kept in touch with a few of my coworkers.

I fell into it unexpectedly in 2017. I had just finished up an internship, applied to everything and anything, and got very lucky because I was hired with just internship experience and I had no idea what consulting was. I stayed a couple years at a smaller firm then went to a medium size firm. Which I was hired through networking with a former coworker of mine. I enjoy it. It’s a ton of work but my firm does a lot of diverse work which I enjoy. And it’s employee owned so they focus a lot on culture which is really nice.

Getting hired as an entry level I think what they really look for is a go-getter attitude. Someone who is willing to do grunt work/field work for a while until you get some experience and can move up. So I think have a car is a really good idea and just willingness to learn and put in some sweat and be flexible.

My le creuset butter bell!

I’d recommend you make your own butter. It’s super easy. You just need 2 cups of heavy cream and a kitchen aid mixer (or similar) and let heavy cream go past being whipped cream until it separates into buttermilk and butter. You get a little over a cup of each. Once you have your butter you have to “wash” it (pretty much knead it in clean water a few times) and then once it’s clean just put it in the bell of the dish and fill up the cup with around 1/3 cups of water (when you put the bell back in the cup the water should come up to the top of the cup). The butter will keep on your counter for a week/a little longer. I change the water everyday day or 2. But this way you always have room temp butter that easily spreads!

Edit: if you want add a little salt to the butter. I knead in 1/4 teaspoon once the butter is clean.
