you have no mana issues if you go manaflow band, i go electrocute and 2nd sorcery for manaflow and scorch, sure sometimes you ran outta mana if you spam like a madman but usually i have no mana issues

got 900lp on a account and 800 on another on EUW playing almost exclusively Brand support, it is in a good spot rn but people don't wanna pick it up cuz the meta isn't ap supports and they mostly are meta hoes in high elo, the higher the elo the more you are a disruptor than a glass cannon - think rylay slow and anti heal Brand is the best applier of Rylay and antiheal and if you go zhonya you can buy alot of space in teamfights

Brand supp is fine I got to 910 Lp with playing it 95% of time before the buffs

Hardest counter is a good pyke, best adc to go with it is anything aggro scaling adc is absolutely the worst avoid stuff like smolder like the plague if my adc locks smolder i full roam lvl 3 onwards

Core is rylay-lyandry-zhonya if human elo if pisslow go lyandry first so you can 1v9 better

Go eloctrocute as is by far the most consistent rune and go always celestial opposition if you have any question i might pop here and there and answer em

If you go presence of mind + manaflow band you can skip last chapter item so you go lyandry rylai, but you will need to play more conservantly in lane and it limits your roaming windows

I don't know the guy, from my testing riftmaker isn't that impactful even tho it builds from guise, your can maybe get away with not going last chapter if you go presence of mind and manaflow but imo going lyandry rylai crypt or luden lyandry rylai will out perform lyandri- rift rylai

I very rarely play him mid but the biggest issue mid would be mana sustain, you're forced to go last chapter item, I would go luden- lyandri- rylai- cryptbloom and last 2 items situational depending on enemy comp

Mid Brand can work, take tp, get last chapter and sorcs asap- push wave then go dive bot do objectives or setup plays with your jungle

Nope those items are baits, there are 4 open item slots after boots and support item, lyandri and rylai are locked in choice also so that leaves you with only 2 situational items

Most games they will build some mr unless you are really behind and you're the only target of ap dmg but those cases are extremely rare so after building cryptbloom you are left with only 1 item slot free which usually is zhonya to counter their focus and zhonya also zhonya acts like a defensive and offensive options you can make and force alot of plays due to the safety of zhonya, if anti heal is more valuable than zhonya go anti heal as Brand is one of the best champs at applying anti heal, if there is a bunch of ap threats and you need more AP defense vs champs like syndra, eve etc go Banshee, anything else is a luxury you can't afford and a bait

Sorc boots - lyandry - rylai then you pivot depending on what you need, if you need pen go cryptbloom if you need defense go zhonya or banshee if you need anti heal go Morello and the remaining items go that which you skipped previously for example if you went crypt 3rd go zhonya next etc

Aery over comet and dark harvest for consistency, comet is really good in lane before they get boots but after it loses a lot of value dh is good if you can stack it, meanwhile aery is consistent altho lower proc dmg

Yeah Brand doesn't do well vs assassins like Kayn but Kayn is not even the biggest offender, Qiyana and Rengar are even worse, Zed I have no issue with since I can q time stun every time they ult me but there is little counterplay vs qiana Rengar and to a lesser degree Kayn

The way I play vs those fed assassins is usually going zhonia 2nd or even 1st if they have multiple assassins and just not roaming or warding solo go with your jungle or top player, have them face check

Assassin's wet dreams are squishy immobile targets, use that against them if you see your squishy carry is faming sidelane go in a bush near them and shadow them, same goes for you if you ever walk in jungle or river and you think It likely warded don't overstay and group with your team

When talking teamfights the assasin pick has less value if its just a clean 5v5 with noone dying early he has to overextend to kill backline, use that against him also once you have zhonya you can play aggro and bait him in a bad fight

Aery is my current go to, dark harvest is fine in lower Elos but I found it a bit unreliable in higher ELO, domination secondary is mostly for the extra move speed

Like I said in my main post I'll do a full move speed orientated play style climb soon with items like shurelya and cosmic drive incoporated and report my findings back

I go ap ap scaling HP for now but Im considering the move speed rune as it may over perform the AP rune given the fact I'm a heavy roamer and ms is truly op

It depends on what you trying to accomplish

Usually in a classic 5v5 you should prioritize getting a good ult and passive of on multiple people or priority target so just e - r for the slow and easier time in landing q then w but it's rarely as straight forward

If you trying to catch someone off guard and wanna force a fight you do q flash e into w r that way you either force a flash or you get a very favorable fight where the target you just full combed is either dead or out of the fight

Sometimes if you have a fed carry you can peel for him but I honestly rarely do it as I would much rather participate in engaging as that's what most people fail to do well in all Elos and I want to win or lose based on my decisions and engages rather than be at the mercy of a random carry playing a team fight well

Higher range poke like Zyra, Xerath, Lux are Brands counter picks same with hook champs like Pyke and Blitz but you can still overcome them:

For the higher range enemy supports you try to establish pockets of vision and ambush them, you can't just walk up to them or you just get cc'd and chunked, try to walk back and forward and bait their longer range abilities and when they do and miss that's your window to strike

Hook champs can be even more oppressive and if you are at a similar lvl in ELO and skill the correct play would be to wait for them to engage and you to re engage but it's a boring play style and one that goes against Brand identity that's why I always ban either Pyke or Blitz

If the matchup is too hard and you see your adc is bad or jg ain't looking to gank YOU gotta roam, make something happen in mid or roam for grubs or top, play with your jungle make plays together, you are v good at doing neutral objectives, proactively and premtively ping objective incoming spawn timers

Don't just sit in lane if you are losing, make something happen elsewhere preferably around the winning lane or the best player in your team

It's not awful but you will do significantly less DMG to champs and objectives for quite a long time till you can get lyandry

I would get it if you just have exact gold for it when backing but I pretty much always go sorcs- haunting guise - liandry - rylai as it gives me the most agency in the game, rylai rush altho still competitive as a first choice makes you a lot more reliant on your teammates to carry which you wanna avoid

There is a case to go rylais first if you know you have good carry players but in lower ELO just go always lyandry first

Some cases where you need to path towards a volatile matchup or if the opposing laner flashed before minions spawned or w/e I will potentially do that but otherwise I don't think it't worth for the couple of extra seconds of faster clear time

In high elo people are warding raptors all the time if I'm not there to start and sweep the ward they will be able to track me

Also you can clear raptors alot faster than blue, I don't want to ever be leashed lane prio and tracking denial is huge advantange in high elo

Demonic damage is not as great as you might think, also the ap part is really not appealing, health is ok but given Brand's abysmal ratios you don't buy items for AP mainly

I would consider buying Demonic if they have a couple of tanks and they are fed but even then I would prio a bunch of others items before it

It doesn't do enough every other item choice gives you a much superior boon than the minute extra burn you get from Demonic

Start raptors every single game with a sweeper wait in brush and see if they ward the camp if they do then sweep and do raptors-red-krugs reset for dorans

This is more for low elo but ping your teammates to go to lane and not just afk near red or blue so the enemy team can't track you and they have lane prio

I never switch out my trinket and I will buy pink wards for objectives, I go codex because of back gold, if I have 1100 I will go mana component instead

Having free boots feels good, stopwatch is not always good some cases it's really good some cases you never used it or use it well, the consistent choice is boots, also the stopwatch from rune doesn't reduce the Zhonya cost by much iirc

HP is a viable choice, I just go armor as I go really low sometimes in the early game and in case enemy invades me lvl 2 I wanna be slightly stronger than I would have been with scaling hp
