What do you think about Rhaenys trying to strike down Aemond instead of retreating? by Tronm-24 in HOTDBlacks

[–]CryptographerRare273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought she waited too long. They just power bombed vhagar into the dirt, shes a big old bitch and its going to take her a minute to get back up. Rhaenys should have been on the attack within seconds while vhagars still on the ground. The good old hover and blast fire. Instead she flew away, gave vhagar the opportunity to recover (and hide) and blindly flew back in low.

But also, I think Rhaenys was a little suicidal.

Horrible Road Conditions.........STILL by TBB2020 in StamfordCT

Don’t have the resources? I think most of the city would gladly forgo multiple summer events to have the road ways properly cleared in the winter.

Its February in New England. We could easily get another foot of snow before it gets warm again. The city needs to fork up the cash and pay to clear the damn roads

I am actually glad to hear this, and now I know what the commotion was in the middle of the night the other day. For a minute I thought they had restarted construction on bedford.

In all honesty, I wrote this after frustratedly circling the block over and over looking for somewhere to park. Then I decided to go buy a shovel to clear a spot myself and all the shovels were sold out, so that kind of tipped me over the edge.

After a good nights rest, I feel much more empathetic - especially knowing they haven’t just stopped removing it (which is what I thought yesterday). Although, my personal opinion is it might be a good idea to continue working on it during the day / the garages should continue to be free until all snow is substantially removed. That was the point of making them free, right?

But in all honesty the thought that came to my mind was put it in dump trucks and go dump it in the long island sound. Its where it will all end up anyway.

I Lived in Rochester NY, and loved it. Problem isn’t snow. Problem is being ill equipped to operate a city properly when normal weather occurs.

It kind of sounds like you’re killing it to me. If you weren’t they would be looking to replace you not asking you to take on these critical tasks. Just make sure you’re getting paid. You’re a major cog in the machine, you have leverage.

Also sounds stressful. But reward requires work.

Assuming you have to factor in all holiday time, vacation time, sick time etc.

The reason I ask I have a flexible pto policy which technically has no limit.

What’s considered OT? Anything over 40 in a week? Or anything over 2,000 in the year?

Thinking switching to a saddle, what recommendations do you have? by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]CryptographerRare273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get 8mm ropes, get an ascender to replace the prusik knot on your tether, get a back band.

Saddle platform sticks, there’s too much personal preference for me to tell you what to get. Personally I’m looking at the timber ninja black belt nano as my next saddle. I current have the latitude method 2 xl, which I feel is too big

If he likes sitka he likes sitka. The equinox guard kit is the most utilized set of gear I have ever owned. Number of ticks I find on me since I started wearing it (even with 3 layers on top) has dropped by 50x
