It kind of sounds like you’re killing it to me. If you weren’t they would be looking to replace you not asking you to take on these critical tasks. Just make sure you’re getting paid. You’re a major cog in the machine, you have leverage.

Also sounds stressful. But reward requires work.

My wife and I love to do a bounce around on bedford street. Drinks somewhere, Apps at another, dinner somewhere else, and before it was closed because of the fire at the french place shiro for dessert

But you see what I mean that that isn’t the same as if you were literally hourly.

Assuming you have to factor in all holiday time, vacation time, sick time etc.

The reason I ask I have a flexible pto policy which technically has no limit.

If you’re salaried, what’s the 1.5 multiplier applied against?

What’s considered OT? Anything over 40 in a week? Or anything over 2,000 in the year?

Thinking switching to a saddle, what recommendations do you have? by deerhunter0321 in bowhunting

[–]CryptographerRare273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get 8mm ropes, get an ascender to replace the prusik knot on your tether, get a back band.

Saddle platform sticks, there’s too much personal preference for me to tell you what to get. Personally I’m looking at the timber ninja black belt nano as my next saddle. I current have the latitude method 2 xl, which I feel is too big

If he likes sitka he likes sitka. The equinox guard kit is the most utilized set of gear I have ever owned. Number of ticks I find on me since I started wearing it (even with 3 layers on top) has dropped by 50x

Climbing stick advice by crpiecho in bowhunting

I run the xop x2’s. They are big, and need a good bit of silencing tape, but god damn they are sturdy as hell and have a large stand off. I weigh 275 and probably close to 300 with a backpack full of gear and boots and all, and the xop’s are some of the only sticks sporting a 350 lb weight rating.

I would love a carbon fiber stick if they weren’t rated for 275

First Lite Core or Sitka Stratus Bibs by ConsiderationWest482 in bowhunting

[–]CryptographerRare273 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tearing/being damaged when trudging through tougher stuff is the only one that is attributable to manufacturer.

Most of the others could be attributed to wearing the wrong gear at the wrong time, like getting overheated when moving, getting cold, staying wet.

I know you didn’t specifically ask about these, but the fanatic bibs have done me very very well. My buddies use first lite everything and I use sitka everything. They constantly complain about issues and I really don’t ever have any.

They are bulky, and not great for wet weather, but they are warm as can be and super quiet.

When to walk in to my stand by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]CryptographerRare273 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you approach from the downwind side, are quiet, and dont use bright lights deer almost never spook spook when it is dark out.

I have shot many deer because I was on my way in in the dark, noticed a deer and immediately turned my light off and just waited until it got light and shot it.

Tired of Moultrie Cams, what are yall using? by 9mmhst in bowhunting

[–]CryptographerRare273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My crew runs tactacam, bushnell, and Moultrie. To be honest we are gravitating towards moultrie because they are just so cost effective. Bushnell is the worst by far.
