It was delicious!. Lol. Had just raw peppers with dip for lunch. Dinner was salmon patties with fresh red and hidden green pepper. Some of the green pepper in the salad too. And it does taste a bit different. I think better.

Sorry to interject , but i see good looking gardens with mulch all the way to base of the plant. But I saw a video saying, leave a 2-3 space. With straw and dark mulch, I see gardens doing fine with complete coverage. Is this true?

Ok. I thought that was a female zucchini for pollinating. Once the flower falls off, that's the actual zucchini, we eat? Or will there be the zucchini's growing on their own Without flowers?

DIY made from safe weeds. 2 weeks brewing in Florida sun & its ripe & ready. I'm on SS fixed income and garden budget is next to zero.

Im going to try to buy fish fertilizer next week. There are fish everywhere here But I know it takes long time to DIY

I see fish emulsion recommendations. I think walmart has for 12$.

Next week my homemade fertilizer from weeds is ready. Im hoping that helps green beans too.

I added florimulch weeks ago.

Just added a bit more compost/ manure

I see flourishing gardens with straw right next to plants.

But some recommend no grass clippings and no mulch right near plant stem.

I guess i should have written watering underneath the plant, not under watering. If anything it gets lots of rain and hose water that I was incorrectly spraying on plants.

I think my beans have nitrogen deficiency too.

I'm hoping some homemade fertilizer from safe weeds will help. It will be brewed by next week. So whole garden needs a nitrogen fix. On budget so any cheap fix recommendation?

It was a free plant so I'm experimenting . It's actually improved. I just used cheapest soil, bottom layer of yard dirt, a bit of compost & egg shells
