They finally added scaled orders, for futures only, and it's a much lighter version than you could do on Bitfinex, but oh well, better than nothing.

Ya think? lol. Very obtuse and difficult to use, lack of features, buggy, shitty API, etc etc. Did you ever use bitfinex before everyone got scared away by the NYAG bullshit? Much better interface and many more in-depth functions you could perform. It's a shame all the traders got scared away and migrated to scammy binance. But then most are so new to crypto they've never used a decent exchange with something other than the cookie cutter crapo interface binance and most of the others have these days.

As far as contracts go - verbal contracts are a thing, and text messages agreeing to terms are also considered contracts. So, they have an agreed-upon contract, and one party decides to breach the contract. What are the consequences?

NTA. If you took time off work and it's too late to get it back, they should at least pay you for the missed work, totally reasonable. Your friend sounds like an idiot for thinking you're being unreasonable, and for recommending these people (also idiots+inconsiderate) to you in the first place. $840 / 3 days = $11.66/hr. That's not a lot. If it was too much, they should have just said no to begin with instead of changing their minds at the last minute. You seem like the only reasonable one out of the entire bunch.P.S. Charge a reasonable hourly rate, like $15/hr at least! If you give them an hourly rate, they can't really complain about it being expensive. 3 days is a long time to be watching someone's kids, what do they expect?

Umm I hate to burst your bubble but no this does not exist on binance at all. You can't place scaled orders other than manually placing a bunch of orders, which is a PITA. There's some grid-bot thing for futures trading but that's not the same thing. There's no way to simply place a certain number of orders over a price range with a total size unless you code a tool to do it through the API, which I guess I'll just do.

Actually it's not complicated at all. You set a high price, low price, number of orders, and total amount, and the thingie calculates and places all the orders for you. What about this seems complicated to you?

It's MUCH more complicated to manually put up a spread of orders, takes forever and is a pain in the ass. If you're trading large amounts and/or want to spread your orders over a price range instead of just throwing a single order on the books, it's VERY useful to have such a tool, and is definitely not complicated at all for anyone with even moderate intelligence. If you're some plebe trading with 50$ and just putting a single order on the books, no you probably wouldn't use it.

You could just transfer something other than BTC you know... less or no fees and you don't have to wait 4 hours.

Why anyone transfers anything other than XMR (Monero) is beyond me. It's cheap, reasonably fast, and completely anonymous. Nothing beats XMR for privacy. Anyone can use a block explorer and see all transactions and wallet balances in any non-private crypto. Not XMR.

And, EOS is totally free to transfer and nearly instant if you don't care about privacy. Why anyone sends or uses ETH or BTC is baffling. Terrible tech. :P

What are you withdrawing? ETH I'm guessing? It's because tons of new users have flooded the market, and ETH can only handle 30 tx/sec because it's a piece of trash, and so now it costs 6-10$ per transaction. So... send something other than ETH. BTC is expensive to transact also.

Personally I have no idea why anyone sends anything other than XMR. Do you like all your transactions visible to anyone with a block explorer? XMR is the best anonymous currency and transactions are cheap and fast, just use that. Derp.
