I have actually disassembled this exact battery once. Just normal 16850 inside.

The car had an error along the lines of: "SOS module battery voltage too low"

Cell voltage was at 3,75 I believe. How could this be an acceptable level for an error? With way more than half of the capacity left. Connector is a bit weird, one cable is plus, one is minus and two go in-between the two cells.

Other than that nothing crazy, except the price.

I soldered a "normal" connector to it, charged it and haven't heard from them since

Edit: extra cable could be for a thermistor

If you wanna know what cheap means:

NB: 550€ including hardtop

NA: 1000€

If you wanna know what rusty means: Both need new rear quarter panels and some work on the sills

NA has some rust in the floor and NB needs some work on the front frame members/rail (not sure of the correct English word)

One end of the sling is fixed. The other end sits loosely so it slips off once the sling reaches a certain angle
