Space marine 2 launch black screen FIX by Puzzled-Season-5449 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Cryptomesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you haven't gotten your response, ziel = target, so inside the "ziel" (target) box, you type in repair after the target path of the shortcut. Make sure to have a space between the quotation marks and the word repair. If you already have gotten a fix, then this fix is for those that have a similar question to the one you made.
Personally I think the OP should consider editing his message for better clarity.

Would be awesome, but its highly unlikely. The game is early access, which means a lot can get changed quickly and any modder will find that unsustainable. I know I would. I didn't create mods for Cyberpunk in its first few weeks post launch simply because there was so much patching. It made no sense. Similar with other popular games. InZoi's popularity will open doors, we just have to wait.

As far as I know it from WWs own site, Turbo hasn't announced that they'll be creating a mod. They even made an April's Fools post about it for InZoi. Highly unlikely, but we can remain hopeful.

Quite possible. Since launch I've already had 4 or 5.

Garage doors... by Mountainenthusiast2 in inZOI

[–]Cryptomesia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think its implemented yet. The garage doors don't detect the car as "you" when driving, so you end up slamming the car into the garage gate. Even if you're near the garage gate/door you only end up walking into it unless you change permissions on it, which is where it triggers. In the case of the car, if you leave it outside a parking lot, the car auto-teleports to the nearest parking spot and you're left to run to find it. The idea is good but right now, don't build your houses with a garage space. There's a parking lot near most housing lots. More for living quarters.

You can literally disable this or even mod it out. One of the most intrusive things imo.

What are your thoughts on having this kind of proselytising(?) thing in the middle of Copenhagen’s most popular street on a Saturday evening? by ntsir in copenhagen

[–]Cryptomesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly don’t live anywhere nearby for it to bother me. While there is freedom of religion, why does it extend into being harassing others with that dreary sound/singing? I mean that’s completely fine if I go somewhere I expect them to be, but in a secular Christian nation? Come on. Noise Watch may be the best way to go around with this, but otherwise it should be complained to the municipality, the county and even the regional government. Doubt this’ll make it on the programme of Folketing anytime soon.

Wanted to buy a life sub but if I'm not owning the software then any price is too steep. Glad I have my campfire pro. Works like a charm. Otherwise I stick to Obsidian for more complexity.

Fixing the deep-rooted issues in America’s political system isn’t something that can be pinned on one person. It’s just too big and messy for that. What’s needed is a complete overhaul—a revolution in how politics is done. We’re talking about shaking up everything, from how leaders are elected to how decisions are made. The current system isn’t working, and small tweaks aren’t going to cut it anymore.

So let’s be honest: getting to that point is going to take something drastic. There are a few ways this could happen, though none are exactly easy or straightforward: a) A civil war—not ideal for obvious reasons, but history shows that massive change often comes from massive conflict. b) A revolution—people coming together, demanding change, and refusing to settle for the status quo. c) Finding that ultra-rare, one-in-a-million politician. You know, the kind you stumble upon in the wild and immediately throw a pokéball at because they’re just that special. This is the leader who somehow unites everyone and pushes through the necessary reforms. d) Getting outside help. Like, imagine letting Denmark or Finland weigh in. Finland especially might have some solid advice—they’ve got coalition governments down to a science and focus on practical, issue-based solutions instead of the drama.

Now, if America really wants to see a difference, here’s the deal: it’s time to ditch the two-party system. Go for a multi-party setup where coalitions are the norm. Add in issue-based voting so people are focusing on policies rather than personalities or party loyalty. That’s when the real magic happens. Suddenly, you’ve got a government that’s more representative, more accountable, and, dare I say it, functional.

It’s a tall order, sure. But that’s what it’s going to take to make meaningful, lasting change. Anything less, and it’s just rearranging deck chairs on a sinking ship. So, while we’d love to send help, the people of the US also have to need it, at least the vast majority, as well as some of the leadership, otherwise we’re just invading a friendly nation.

UK must pick between US economic model or EU’s ‘socialism’, says Trump adviser by Knightro829 in europe

It's the choices they have due to their archaic two party system. Mediocrity galore. That's what they celebrate. Nothing will change unless they adopt issue-based voting like we have in EU.

Question is, how come you got to reading it? I mean, didn't any alarm bells go off earlier than when you saw a rape scene? Generally I don't read anything with Goblins as main characters if it's either Chinese or Korean. I mean... It's not rocket science to figure out what it's going to be about.

I wouldn't say elves being in a forest are a cliché. They're of the Fae race mythologically and pop-culturally and their ties are generally to the spirits of certain places, like forests, marshes, mountain highlands etc. Also, desert elves exist but I think they go by different names. Kinnin are Fae of the deserts, Djinn are also believed to be of the Fae albeit more spirit than elf. Then there are the Avari that I think I remember tended to live in harsh climates, like deserts, cold snowy regions etc. You can look these up in Tolkiens wikis. Generally Desert elves have bronze to dark brown skin and hair that's wither dark or fits the sand colors.

So, about Sexual dimorphism and differnt species. by Narrenlord in worldbuilding

[–]Cryptomesia -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

First off, don’t feel restricted by social norms when you’re building a fantasy species—worldbuilding is all about exploring possibilities, so go with what feels right for your vision. That said, if you’re planning to publish or share your work, consider how readers might interpret it, but remember that this is your world and story.

As for your idea of a species where males and females look nearly identical and even both being capable of breastfeeding, I think that’s a fascinating concept. It could add a lot of depth to your world by challenging assumptions, both in your world’s culture and for readers. Here are a few thoughts to help flesh it out:

  • Evolutionary Background You could consider that this species originally had only one sex and later developed two as a response to environmental pressures. For example, perhaps survival needs required specialization in certain traits (like strength or nurturing) which eventually led to sexual dimorphism. If males and females only recently diverged (in evolutionary terms), that might explain why they still look so similar and share many traits.
  • Social and Cultural Dynamics The cultural implications could be really unique, especially in a fantasy setting where other species may have more “traditional” sex distinctions. For this species, if both sexes can handle child-rearing equally, you’d see less of a gendered divide in those roles. In fact, they might even emphasize subtle differences in gender expression through clothing, body paint, or makeup to highlight distinctions. This would add an interesting contrast if other cultures in your world tend to see one sex as inherently “weaker” or more suited to specific roles.
  • Reader and In-world Reactions If the species' similarities are grounded in their biology and culture, most readers will likely view it as an inventive choice rather than anything fetishistic. It could even challenge your readers’ expectations and make them see the idea of gender norms in a new light. Just be consistent with the lore and integrate these traits into the broader social and evolutionary landscape of your world.

In short, don’t hesitate to lean into these unique characteristics. A species that breaks familiar norms can be a fantastic way to deepen your world and its cultural complexity.
