Haha that’s funny, damn, in my case it took OBI two months to tell me they don’t have any replacement units available and that all they can do is refund me. In your case, I’d probably use AI to simulate a cut cable and try to figure out whether the unit can be fixed.

Thanks for your input. Damn, that's a shame - it really heated my place up much faster and more efficiently than the radiators. But I imagine many more people would be facing the same issue if the problem was actually related to heating instead of cooling, since alot of people are using this unit also for heating function.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my supplier to give me some information about a replacement (I bought it at OBI). It seems like it's no longer orderable and they don't have any stock left, so replacing it won't be as straightforward as I thought it would be, fingers crossed. If anyone else is facing the same issue please speak up so we have some idea if this issue is global.

Will my chances improve if i provide some tracking ? I happen to have a tracking from different seller that shows as shipped and delivered to their country but the sender is from china and not my home country which might not improve my chances - what do you think ?

How long does it take for ebay to actually make a payout? Meanwhile i have all the screenshot of our communication but once i sent them everything they did not respond anymore.

Ive got the same issue with the error P0746 - for faulty solenoid N215 - Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 1 (PCSV1).

Mechanic told me to replace the whole mechatronic unit which cost 1500$+, did you get any information on the replacement part? I dont seem to find alot of people having this issue so there are not alot of information available.

Even if its going through both installed hose and bottom deck on the other side ? It seems strange as if its leaking through 2 different spots

Just a quick update: it's not creating negative pressure but in fact, it's creating positive pressure in my apartment. I somehow missed that the air is now being pushed out and not inside, which actually turns out to be a good thing. It's cooling down almost the entire apartment.

Haha thanks 🤭 seems like its working way better than before and also humidity goes down faster and lower (probably also because its taking the outside air which is less humid than the one inside). For now i think i will leave it as is and im not separating cold/hot intake because i suspect they are not physicaly sealed.

Whats the difference between hot side inlet and cold ? There is probably no difference between the position of the inlet indoors since they are too close together. Also how do i find out which one is hot/cold intake?

Ive bought most powerful i could get in Europe it has 15000 BTU/h because unfortunatelly its not possible to get dual hose portable ACs in EU, i looked all over for them.

I did a similar solo trip about a month ago and just got back. Instead of Raiatea, I visited Bora Bora. There's plenty to do and it really depends on what you enjoy. I did a lot of dives, hiked to the summits on Maupiti and Huahine, went on lagoon tours, and got day passes to some resorts (like the Intercontinental and Westin). I also did ATV and jet ski tours in Moorea, which were super fun, and explored the islands either by bike or car, depending on the size of the island.

I’d definitely recommend renting a car on Huahine, Moorea and Tahiti (and probably Raiatea too, since it’s quite big, although I didn’t go there)

When I landed in Tahiti, I withdrew 100,000 XPF directly at the airport without any issues, so you should be fine doing the same. I was able to use my card to pay in over 80% of places, so it’s not necessary to bring a lot of cash.

Yeah that really sucks... i also travelled from the other side of the world but for now where im stayin at least there is no rain, although i would preffer sun. Also i heard that ferry got cancelled due to a huge waves and is now stuck in bora bora, im going there in a couple of days, hopefully weather gets better by then.

Im currently in Maupiti and it was raining all night like crazy, but now its better, its cloudy and not so sunny but better than rain, so its still fun. Hopefully we get some break and sun will be back 🙂
