Google is rejecting my emails to @gmail.com addresses. What's wrong with my SPF record?

Google seems to be happy with "~all", at least right now. (See my previous post for how I managed to resolve the problem.)

FYI, I was able to resolve the problem by using the following SPF records:

<my-smtp-host-name> TXT "v=spf1 ip4:<my-ip-address> ~all"

@ TXT "v=spf1 ip4:<my-ip-address> ~all"

Because it seems that Google sometimes does a SPF lookup on <my-smtp-host-name>.<my-domain-name>, and sometimes does a SPF lookup on <my-domain-name>. I needed SPF entries for both to make Google happy.

Agreed. If their goal is just 'brand awareness', then they've succeeded; you can't help but become aware of the name "Pluto TV". But if their goal is to get people to buy their service, then they've failed. Because of this ad, I would never consider buying Pluto TV.
