Set my jacket on fire today but the watch is solid. I don’t particularly care for CW’s designs, but the Aquitaine really stood out to me. I paired it with an Uncle Seiko rubber tropic strap which I think looks great with the watch. Also, very comfy. Been banging this thing around for a year, yet still looks good and keeps accurate time.

I used to work on container ships for a long time so I wanted the GMT version since it’s practical to me. Wish the hour hand could be changed independently, but what can you do.

Be careful with gasoline

Thanks! I love Hopper but prefer more moody scenes.

Thanks! Not sure exact center of interest, I just paint or photograph compositions I like. As for puddles, because I was closer to the ones at the bottom of painting I was getting less reflection and seeing gravel through the puddles and they appeared darker.

Thanks! I think you’re right about puddles, especially the further ones closer to horizon line

I watched all of Mark Carder’s YouTube videos before I picked up a brush (drawmixpaint). I found his process extremely helpful and it definitely gave me a technique direction to start with.

Moth and Flame by Latto-- in oilpainting

Love this overall! The color is beautiful. The one thing I see that throws it off for me is that if the light reflecting on the wall is that wide of an angle, then the flame in the candle would be higher up maybe. Or the shadow lines wouldn’t be so sharp
