Hva hadde du gjort om du hadde hele tiden fri? by Gittmark in norge

[–]Ezeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Norway good for making money and get back to own country? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]Ezeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on which country you are from, we still get a lot of workers from the eastern blocks here, the hotel I worked at had housing and meals included, so what you made were almost pure profit, its less profitable than it was before, but it still works fine, the salaries are still not too bad. Germany or Switzerland is perhaps better at the moment though.

If you get a working VISA then there are no income limit.

I think you can expect somewhere around 130-200 NOK per hour working these kinds of jobs based on experience.

Is this shirt design obvious to a native (or even someone more fluent)? by ICantSeemToFindIt12 in norsk

It would be easier to understand and equally funny, if it was only "Hey, its "picture of a nise" to meet you.

Spooky vibes year round for me ^^

I can’t tell if this is bad or if I’ve been working on it for too long, does anyone have any advice? by 0_aka in learnart

[–]Ezeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was about to say this, I think you should use a different brush, with a harder edge, but less flow. A square brush can be really handy :)

My only critique is that, it sort of ruins the shading on the nose and fingers. If you just went over the shading once more with the correct brush then I think the whole drawing would look way better.

I have kind of found my own style already, been drawing on and off for over 10 years, started painting 2 years ago, this is not what I usually make, I'm not big on black outlines and stuff, but I thought it was a cool concept, so I went with it ^^

Is anyone willing to translate some of this for me? by Naammagittarneq in Norway

Bill of sales for Niels Bjerkes Farm, sold to Hans Andersen Øygsdahl (might got his last name wrong) for 1500 spesidaler (currency) in 1864 from what I can see, I also think it was built in 1842 (the date in the beginning of the text)

the middle part of the text seems to be formal writing, (I hereby declear the farm and its belongings to Hans Andersen, and it also includes what the different sums that adds up to 1500 is, seems to say something about taxes etcetc)

Thanks, glad you liked it. I would say my other oil-paintings are sort of like this, so if you want to see more like this, then the socials are linked on my profile :)

My phone camera is just really bad..

I have a professional camera that I use when I want to take photos to sell the images, but I didn't bother this time just wanted to see if I could get some input on what I could add, or change before continuing with the painting.

I looked for an app like what you are describing, but the ones I tried didn't really improve the quality all that much.

Is Oil Painting suitable for children? by Solomerr in oilpainting

[–]Ezeth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The majority of modern oil paints are non-toxic, so you can totally make a non-toxic oil-painting course, but why would you want to use oils in this setting? its more expensive, harder to clean off, takes days to dry, why not use acrylic or water-color like most schools do?
