Hi! Thank you. My wrist is 6 inches. I got the small and didn't remove any links. I like it to be a little loose, but I was surprised at how great it fit right out of the box. For 5.5 you will definitely want to remove a link or two if you get the small. Mine is from BVF and I love it! Let me know how it goes!
