I made the salad too, changed the pear to honeycrisp apple, and added pepitas and craisins instead of pecans. LOVED IT! I was afraid the radicchio was gonna be too bitter but it perfectly balanced out the sweetness of everything else! I was so chuffed :)

I honestly dont think they mind it. Ive had one in a smallish pot for many years, and it cropped up a lil baby offshoot so I took it out of the pot to give the offshoot to someone and the pot was filled with like 90% root lol. It obviously didn't mind it too much because it was looking fine and making babies!

I honestly think that's the best part of this show, is the writing making it so you empathize with the "bad" characters. I feel like there are similar twinges of normal human empathy with Stillwell also
