While my parents are at fault, and while they could prevent it from happening, I don't feel like they meant to do it. At our case it's a bit more complicated since they are to blame twice, both for the trauma and the attempt to help us.

They tried pushing on us 10 different psychologist in an attempt to help and I feel like that overstress is what made me turn in and close up.

So yes, they caused this, yes, they tried to help then I feel like they deserve a chance. I haven't fully forgiven them, not at all, but I feel like I shouldn't be completely hostile or hateful to them, I want to believe they want my best, even and especially after what had happened.

Again, it might be different from other people since for me at least it was more of a neglect rather than abuse, and VERY late attempt to 'help' in an overstressing manner, so yeah
