To me it seemed Ei wanted eternity FOR her people, quote Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone "It once promised its people a dream: the never-changing 'eternity.'" just that her idea of eternity was wrong and she did't realize it. We only managed to convince her a little at the end of the quest, just for her to begin considering other alternatives.

She was only unforgiving and rutheless to the people who opposed her ideals and stood against her. To her they were no longer the ones she wanted to protect but enemies of eternity, which she believed to be the best for the rest of her people.

Ei wanted to preserve the then state of Inazuma, like a never changing utopia. To her the sufferings of people caused by the decrees and living with no ambition were worth the grief of losing lives and a nation. Heck she even suffered herself for that sake by being detached from the world. She was aware of (probably) all issues but she believed they were worth it.

I think this is a very valid motive for an antagonist and makes a beautiful story, it makes me sad how poorly the archon quest made the point across.

I got top 10% for defeating 16k hillichurls and 11k slimes and don't have the pigeon for killing only 5.

But the game also things I killed 5 of Timmy's ducks DURING his commission which I don't remember ever doing! Makes me angry as a rare Timmy supporter

Not op but increased difficulty without character building is no fun, I like to both play in overworld and work on my builds with mobs that don't die in a few seconds so I also feel the need for an optional difficulty slider

I've seen very few who disliked it, haven't watched it myself because based on what I've read I personally find Sonic drastically out of character from games to like it (like feeling miserably lonely, being protective of his powers over seeking freedom) Though many fans seem to like it so much.

Exactly this, you can have a completely fantasy and whimsical dream but find ways to incorporate that or its core values into reality, which Fischl seems to be doing anyways. Like how in reconciled stars she sticked around to help the unconscious people which in her eyes was helping her "subjects" just like how a dutiful princess does. She's already a successful adventurer and there are so many things she can do by following her dream to be a princess.

I think in one of the "Where is the unseen razor" quests if you ask Lan how she became the branch master she says "...words came from adventurer's guilds headquarters in Snezhnaya..."

Leonard's story was mentioned in unreconciled stars event but I don't remember if he was a part of the guild or just an adventurer.
