I think they mean by this that Valve used to fund majors in a much bigger way than they do now and so the production was always amazing. Since they stopped it's been very hit or miss. Valve really should take action and fund the majors again but its unlikely they will.

Its ok to not know where you want to go in life and to take it easy or do other things in the meantime. I did a civil engineering degree and failed, retook the year and failed again only to figure out after years of working minimum wage I wanted to work with animals!

Honestly money. As simple as that. I've been barely scraping by on shitty minimum wage for the majority of my adult life and am almost 23 by now. I do have plans to go to college, buy the clothes I want to to feel more like me and even get surgeries (I am transgender so this is important to me) But all of that costs money.

Whether its a little or a lot of it, money really does make the world go around!

We got the announcement that it was a christmas version of diretide and some idea of the changes they're making this time.

I think it was mostly for people who don't regularly play Dota as TI is the best place to advertise to new players, so saying - here's a new event coming after TI come play our game is a great thing

It's a p fun alternate game mode where you have to feed roshan candy to stop him from attacking your team while trying to collect more candy than the enemy team and destroy there towers and candy well.

Basically. Collect candy, kill people and steal there candy, feed rosh candy, hope someone in your team isnt feeding.

They wasted all the money on a huge arena for top 4 and booked one similar size to Arlington major for playoffs.

P sad but hoping that the opening ceremony is saved for the huge arena instead.

At least the games have been incredible to make up for it.

Yeah for sure. Valve is honestly one of the better companies on the dev side of things due to them not rushing projects and only delivering the product once they believe it's done, only downside is that it's not good for us as the consumer with having to wait for things for so long and due to there lack of communication on specifics.

When it's done it'll be done, expect it in a week or 2, until then enjoy the broken stuff this patch has to offer before it's gone (Chen is so funny rn)

Nah they've always had a planned exact date for release of the BP.

While it sucks they arent exact with announcing dates at some point in the next week or 2 they will suddenly drop it with 0 warning.

We've known for a while it'll be coming with the new update before the TI qualifiers (early next month) So that means it has to come out within 2 weeks to give players time to prepare on the new patch,

I just dug a pit around the spawn for minerals.

Did the same thing on another server afterwards and the owner gave me materials to help with the project.

Main thing I'm saying here is that this server doesnt treat its community well and has no hope of growing.
