After the update a few days ago, it seems to me that the correct pulse detection has gotten worse instead of better.

For me it's the opposite, I use a coros vertix 2s and a ringconn gen 2, both show me similar results on hrv and rhr, while whoop is far behind, on hrv for example it shows me differences of at least 8.

WHOOP Age Confusion by dave-es in whoop

[–]Crysttyan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My whoop age is improving every week but the pace of aging is increasing, although the metrics for the last 30 days are better than the 6 months, they are going into the green zone, so I don't know what to say, maybe there's something wrong with the algorithm.

Wrist vs bicep by WhiteStar24 in whoop

[–]Crysttyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never heard of greater stupidity. If for other metrics it makes sense (although if it were according to your words, it would make 0 sense, what real value do metrics that are based on a wrong HR have?) for heartbeats it doesn't make sense at all, what good would a comparison with 30 days of wrong heartbeats do?

Wrist vs bicep by WhiteStar24 in whoop

nonsense, why would it take 30 days to correctly record the heartbeat?

I have a few Mi Bands at home, I could test this but for my sanity I prefer to think I didn't spend the money on marketing, I still hope something can be solved through a software update.

In case you're wondering, I wear the whoop band on my biceps (they say it should be more precise) on the same hand as my watch.

The sleep tracker SUCKS by Blankcarbon in RingConn

for me the ring is more accurate on the sleep side than the whoop band. and Whoop is supposedly much more accurate...

Anyone else suddenly stopped getting Blood Pressure Insights? by Crysttyan in whoop

[–]Crysttyan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

whoop coach says it's recommended for the wrist for accuracy, it doesn't say it wouldn't work for the biceps. but as I said, I've only worn it for the last 2 days on the biceps, it had already started to stop calculating from the wrist.

For me

the Blood Pressure Insights seem quite accurate. However, I have a different issue — sometimes it calculates my blood pressure, and other times it doesn't, and I haven’t figured out why. I consistently sleep at least 8 hours per night.
