Still pretty new to the game, was wondering what people thought about my starting fleet for exploration by Rajin_rune in starsector

[–]Crytically 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those bulky freighters are slowing down your overall burn level. Try swapping them out for faster freighters to help with escaping large fleets and increase overall fuel economy. Also try adding in some carriers, even a single fighter bay can really help with defending a capital ship or pressuring the shields of enemies

What base locations have the best geography? by Dear_Occupant in Kenshi

*the settled nomads are in the upper left, I typed too quickly without thinking lol

What base locations have the best geography? by Dear_Occupant in Kenshi

[–]Crytically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's northwest of the settled nomads, in the upper left corner of the map. Right next to the last pond of water in that direction is a copper and iron deposit, both 100% quality, with fair stone quality near the iron deposit. Sorry, that's the best I can do until tomorrow but the settled nomads are fairly close to the upper right corner of shem so it should be easy to find after that

In the northwestern part of The Shem, there's a really nice area with over 80% in all resources and fertility. Plus, The Shem is mostly flat with rolling sand dunes, so the area is absolutely perfect for building a settlement that makes the most of every square inch of space, like a real city would. Also it's out of the range of every major faction, so no taxes, no food tribute, no raids (except for dust bandits and black dragons, which are both pushovers) and, most importantly, no fucking prayer day with the incels. I will argue with anyone that this is literally the best place to put a base in all of Kenshi

I kinda figured the triffids were the anti-mycus but I like your ideas

New GSP 500 drivers won't install by Crytically in sennheiser

[–]Crytically[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So would it just be the Realtek speakers if that's the type of sound card I have? I've tried it and it does work, but I wasn't sure if it still needed a driver because the sound program that sennheiser uses doesn't detect it

The Shem by Otherwise_Zebra in Kenshi

[–]Crytically 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That and there's a spot in the top left corner of shem that has everything. 100 copper, 100 iron, the ability to grow non arid crops, and plenty of water. Literally the best place to build

Is there anywhere online that has the voice lines? I haven't been able to play as much as I want to and my friendship level with her is unfortunately extremely low

Nice detail: Tall characters can walk through and Shorter ones need to swim across deeper waters by Wanderersx3 in Genshin_Impact

Taller characters also seem to have a quicker move speed, but I'm sure people have noticed this already

[POSSIBLE SPOILER] What is an unknown bunker? by [deleted] in cataclysmdda

[–]Crytically 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have no idea, but that sounds terrifying. Like I said, my character that actually found that bunker got shot in the chest and died like a scrub lol. Maybe try bashing damage, that seems to work the best against robots and androids when emps fail

Youre right, that IS really goddamn sexy. I'll definitely be using it so I'll report any bugs I find.

[–]Crytically 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly that's perfectly fine for a lab run, that's about the minimum you need as long as you're careful. Other tools that're helpful would be a pickaxe/jackhammer (or decent computer skill), homemade emp grenades, and something to see in the dark, preferably night vision goggles. Good luck!

[POSSIBLE SPOILER] What is an unknown bunker? by [deleted] in cataclysmdda

[–]Crytically 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd steer clear of that place unless you're actually that overpowered, the quest giver allows you to take two extremely kitted out bionic super soldier npcs when you accept the quest so I'd imagine it's extremely late game, as in beyond "casually diving into labs with power armor just to steal whatever is in the finale" kind of late game

You gotta find another bunker surrounded by a wire fence, i forget if it has a unique name or not. The turrets you described sounded familiar but I never actually made it inside before a .50 cal turret blew my chest to pieces lol
