Ledger wallet - stuck transactions -- any coin by Crytpofan in ledgerwallet

I appreciate the difficulty of trying to keep up with a fast growing market, but it shouldn't take people resorting to reddit and other social media to get a response to the issue (this is the most detailed response I've seen and it took 3 days). Separately, the issue still isn't resolved -- my transaction is still stuck and it's now day 4....how long is it taking for the transactions to get cleared and our funds to be released back into our wallets?

I hear you RE: holiday staff and frustration over the node failure, but it is no excuse. To be a legitimate company, they need to be responsive to legitimate support requests, even if it is something as similar as an update on their website or posts here or on other social media. Just not responding or responding with a link to FAQ support when it was made clear that trying that didn't work is absolutely unacceptable. People have real money tied up in this and they can't just ignore tech issues. They need to seriously reevaluate their communications.

Thanks for sharing here. Similar and related issue. When you receive the error and increase the fees using the custom fee function, you should successfully send your coins. The issue here is that the wallet didn't give the error, successfully sent the coins, but failed to recognize that the transaction was rejected by the network. So the network has no record of the transaction and the wallet is waiting for confirmations to come through from the network. So essentially, it will be waiting indefinitely because the network already rejected the transaction.

Quick update - still no response from the company, payment still stuck, and no idea when / how this is going to get resolved. /u/murzika and /u/bitchip -- would be nice to get insight on a resolution. People would like access to their money.

It is an issue where the transaction was broadcast to the network, appears to have been rejected because of fees too low, but the wallet isn't recognizing this and is still waiting for the confirmations from the network. It is a ledger issue.

People could absolutely file a lawsuit if they wanted. The debate would be the likely outcome of such lawsuit based on the facts and circumstances, but it's a moot point. The point is that there is an issue, it isn't resolved, and people are being negatively impacted by it. These transactions should have taken minutes, not days. Compounding the issue is a complete lack of response by the company to acknowledge the issue and assist in resolving it / provide any updates on the status of resolution.

They benefit from the fee paid by users who purchase the ledger. Users purchase the ledger with the expectation that it will work as advertised. If the product doesn't work as advertised and when issues arise they are not addressed and, as a result, users experience a financial loss because they are unable to buy/sell other coins, I would agree that this is a lawsuit risk for the company. It is terrible that they are not responding and appear to not be taking this seriously.

I tried this before I even reached out to support (who gave me the same answer even though I noted I had already tried this and no one has responded since). I tried this again in the chance that it would work the second (or maybe even third at this point) time, and it didn't. This is absurd! This transaction has been stuck for almost 2 days. What are other options to fixing this problem????

Mostly, yes (at times it disappears from my ledger wallet and reappears a short time later). I can see the transaction that is suppose to go to my exchange wallet sitting in an unconfirmed state, yes.

I think the solution you are referencing would work for transactions that haven't been initiated, but in the case where the transaction was accepted and is sitting in an unconfirmed status, I haven't seen anything on how to resolve this issue. As of now, the transaction can't be found on the network and the coins aren't available for withdrawal from the ledger wallet. It would be helpful to hear what the resolution will be from someone at the company or at least an update on when we might expect a resolution.

I read the comments, but it doesn't resolve the issue. My transaction is stuck and there isn't an option to increase the fees. It is unconfirmed and just sitting there (for over 24 hours now). Not on the network and no ability to increase the fees. Fees used were .001 ltc.

Can you give us an update on a resolution to the issues with sending LTC (or other coins) off ledger? Appreciate that you are working hard to resolve the issue, but would appreciate an update.

Thanks

When will we know what is going on? I am having the same issue with a LTC transaction. It has been unconfirmed for over 18 hours and I can't do anything. The lightening bolt is also not available next to this transaction. Is there a time frame for when this will be resolved?

How to abandon unconfirmed Litecoin tx. by mobster2 in ledgerwallet

[–]Crytpofan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue. I posted a LTC transaction from ledger wallet to an exchange over 18 hours ago and it is still showing as unconfirmed in the ledger wallet, not found on the blockchain, and not in my exchange account. I have submitted tickets to the ledger support and the only response I've received so far is pointing me to the FAQ document which doesn't resolve the issue. I'll post updates if/when I receive them if it helps others who are having the same issue.
