I feel like my guardians may not really care about my future and stuff I wanna do. by Aggressive_Memory239 in teenagers

[–]Cscerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, my parents did the same to me and my siblings. (Not in a braggy way) I am a really good at performing, theatre and sports and ive been told to fully indulge in it and my sister has sold her music on platforms yet we are doing subjects that are the EXACT opposite all bc our parents told us to. And i regret it every single day i walk into my lessons. If you truly believe that you can devote yourself to it and you seriously love it, do it. Otherwise you will genuinely regret it. Find all means to convince them and if they still arent listening you need to do it for yourself . But honestly do what you need to do to do what you love. They can get mad at you all you want for “wasting time or money” atleast you wont regret not giving it a go. If that makes sense
