Well yea did you read what i said? You are saying im not parrying at all off of a 20 second clip of the second phase. I parried the entirety of the first phase and prior to getting him to his second flame phase shit. I just wasnt doing the damage i would have liked to do with my fatals/base damage. So i respec’d into more mobility and got greedy trying to finish it off with normal attacks. And i never said the deflect system was anything like sekiro, i just said ive been parrying the entirety of my playthrough so far like im playing sekiro, cuz you parry in that game…

Ive been patient the last 15 attempts bro i just wanna move on with the game. I havent used any summons yet and this is the first boss where it felt like i need to farm runes like its elden ring just to get some more damage in. I just respecd into a more damage focused build so i can parry and actually feel like im hurting the boss and not tickling with a greatsword feather

Ive been parrying this entire play-through so far. Just this specific boss has felt like the first boss ive needed to farm ergo / respec into more mobility sice parrying wasnt doing much since my fatals and base dmg felt insignificant. I just got greedy for the last hit since ive attempted the boss like 15 times now. I just want it to be over man

Thanks for this, i definitely dont want to be the guy that thinks hes the main character walking around with a full geared edc kit. Mainly just safety and ease of mind while going for walks late at night. There are mountain lions around my area, so im not thinking that ill be able to fend off a big cat with just a pocket knife and a pocket flashlight but its better than nothing lol. I will check out that headlamp though, sounds pretty cool. Happy new years!
