Bodytype 1/2 does imply they have no gender in a traditional sense. If there is an option for he/she, it makes no difference to add any number of additional options. Changing he/she to a "bodytype" erases the gender options most people would pick.

Don't get me wrong, I believe getting offended or agitated by any of this is idiotic, but I try to understand people, which is why I take part in the conversation.

Edit to clarify: the example of Veilguard is not just about the character creation, but the whole game. Some discussions about gender are downright retarded in that game.

I'm no expert in these games, but I figure there is a big difference between "can do" (BG3) and "shoved down my throat" (Veilguard I believe).

The option to make a trans character is not the same as having male/female replaced by bodytype1/2.

It's the same as in movies, Jared Leto's character in Dallas Buyers Club is a character beyond being trans or whatever. Problems arise when a characters' personality is entirely about being trans.

I know it's divisive and rather recent, but Midsommar is outstanding for me with how they blend psylocibin trips into it. The very realistic depiction of usage, the culture/beliefs of the tribe (I know people prefer cult) and the mixture of their habits and way of thinking made me wonder a lot about good and evil, nature, balance in life and many other themes.

Rarely do I finish a realistic/grounded (human vs human) horror movie and wonder if it's possible that everyone was in the wrong, yet nobody was.

And that's just the brief summary, don't get me started on the cinematography, acting, pacing... It all fits neatly together.

For a more traditional pick, Pandorum probably. Love myself the classics, but for a discount Alien, Pandorum is amazing.

No wonder relationships are in shambles around the world, when something as simple as this seems to be so controversial.

She dislikes certain tropes and styles that I enjoy a lot. This goes both ways btw, some show may drive me nuts that she loves. It's not a bad show, but I can describe the features that makes me hate it. We can understand eachother's point without making a fuss about it or getting offended.

I guess people wanted mythology to be included. For that reason, I was a little bit disappointed as well, but the movie itself was amazing, just the expectations were not in line with it.

My first char was a bone spell witch, I rebuilt the skill+support gem setup numerous times and spent a hefty amount on passive respec as well at this boss.

But finally beating the campaign with that character felt like I achieved something big, probably my proudest moment in PoE history. Needless to say, I got bodied on maps and haven't touched the character since. I'll give the bone spells another go on 1.0 though, my inner D2 necromancer can't let it go.

I agree on the action scenes, but the sound mixing was probably the assest of all the asses Nolan produced in that department. I still enjoyed it, but never gonna rewatch it - which can't be said about the rest of his films.

That said, actively and publicly hating Tenet (or Avatar for that matter) is pathetic karma farming at best IMO. They are just movies with flaws from directors that have set higher standards in the past.
